Snakehips 'Forever' By Sashinski

The excellent Sashinski-directed video for UK electronic outfit Snakehips' track Forever showcases Japanese choreography/modelling double-act AyaBambi as they perform an intense, spellbinding dance.Â
Ultra-styled in their punk-goth aesthetic, the pair cooly snakecharm their way into a bar and command the full attention of their audience by their near-mirrored presence and style. Then the full power of their hypnosis takes effect with a quick, rhythmic succession of synchronised, razor-sharp movements paired with their bold, lock-tight gaze.
Deeply bored and apathetic whilst at their day-jobs, these artists are decidedly in their element whilst performing, and it's a sight to behold - impressively captured by Sasha Nathwani, aka Sashinski.
SASHINSKI:
I'd been wanting to work with AyaBambi for quite some time, the brief from Snakehips was the perfect opportunity. We initially planned to film in Tokyo but as AyaBambi were already in Europe choreographing Madonna's European performances it made sense to shoot in London and dress the capital like an ambiguous Asian city.
Ayabambi were a dream to work with, and the Snakehips boys and Dan Millar were helpful in pushing for a really cinematic look, which was helped by our striking locations.Â
