Fekky 'Ain't Nobody' by James Barber
James Barber delivers a fierce and frenetic performance video for Island Record's artist, Fekky.
The video was filmed on location, in and around the deep, dark tunnels of the historic 19th Century Fort Borstal in Kent.
"Since shooting the stills for Fekky's upcoming album campaign, in the summer last year, I have got to know him pretty well and he has a huge personality and is a real character.
"So with that in mind, I wanted to focus on capturing a performance full of presence and magnetism and on top of that I wanted to give him a really strong cinematic aesthetic that had a dark and haunting feel to it (channeling Walter Stern's video for Massive Attack, Angel) which my DP, Stefan Yap executed sublimely and Ryan Beck worked his magic in the edit."
