"My relationship with Veyu has been a close one for a while now and we obtain an ongoing collaboration, pairing my visuals with the music in a live setting, as well as an on-line multimedia one.

"The video was shot to promote In The Forest off their debut EP and was filmed in the band's own creative space, an art gallery set in the bowels of underground Liverpool. The band use this space to write music and host live-multimedia shows involving my art and visual performances.

"It wasn't a huge budget to play with so we tried to create something that looked great but didn't attempt to be high-end - anything but. One light, one camera and one day of filming, a simple yet effective approach. I found this to be a great way of working, allowing me to relay my ideas quickly and experiment with shots more than usual.

"I wanted the video to reflect the bands "synth art rock" sound, yet remain dark and dreamy, "a hazy reflection of an euphoric aesthetic" was the underlying tone".
