Lo-fi, high octane, urban transport system shenanigans from Cyrus Mirzashafa for indie-rock duo Vita Bergen&#39;s In The City.&nbsp;Appropriately, it&#39;s an an amped-up trip around London, mainly on the Tube, and the fact everything has been thrown into the scuzzy VHS filter does not detract from its watchability. It never lets up, and works a treat.

Glasgow pop trio Twin Pines are sent on a tongue-in-cheek trip back to the &#39;80s without leaving the studio, in Scott Altman&#39;s video for Young Heart.&nbsp;Filmed in London and Los Angeles, the band performed against green screen, which was then replaced with LA backdrops, and given a lo-fi, VHS-esque&nbsp;finish. Not exacty high-tech, but not a problem when the band are as exuberant as this, and the song this catchy.&nbsp;

Scott Altman has directed this richly atmospheric&nbsp;video for Diztortion’s I’ll Be There&nbsp;(Refix) – featuring&nbsp;Jamaican reggae artist Beenie Man, alongside British pop singer Melissa Steel – shot over three days in the suburbs of Lisbon, involving&nbsp;a cast of nearly 100 local people.&nbsp;It displays a diverse mix of cultures as they get together&nbsp;for one hell of a street party. &nbsp;

A blistering&nbsp;performance of no-nonsense metal by Death Koolaid, whipped into shape by&nbsp;Brendan Cleaves courtesy of a nifty rotating camera on a homemade rig.&nbsp;&nbsp;&quot;The band wanted to do a performance video but in reality despise them,&quot; says Brendan.&nbsp;&quot;So I came up with this idea, to create motion sickness, headaches and general dizziness.&nbsp;Due to the limited budget, I thought I&#39;d make it more intense for the band and crew and put a time limit on the shoots duration (a total of three hours), to simply get in, go nuts and get out!&nbsp;&quot;We used a homemade camera rig for many of the shots and the song is bonkers, so it all came together nicely.&quot;

Cyrus Mirzashafa says that the idea for his new We Are Animal video&nbsp;&quot;was inspired by the Jeckyl &amp; Hyde connotations of the song, and my love of Teen Wolf.&quot; There&#39;s also the pervading influence of sub-Hammer British horror, with a twist of psychedelia.&nbsp;&quot;We marched around North Wales for the first part of the shoot and retired to a derelict pub to film the interiors,&quot; says Cyrus. &quot;Post mainly consisted of me regressing to a hermit state, sat in front of the monitor, consuming copious amounts of tea and cigarettes.&quot;

Charlie Tyrell has directed this&nbsp;video for&nbsp;Keita Juma&#39;s track Belly, with an&nbsp;animated photo collage technique inspired by David Hockney.To pull it off, he&nbsp;converted video from around 13 DSLR cameras&nbsp;to still image sequences and printed out each individual frame, resulting in five thousand printed photos which were then animated by hand. A mammoth job, but the result is an interesting,&nbsp;shapeshifting take on a&nbsp;performance video.
