A-Trak ft Andrew Wyatt 'Push' by Ramón Ayala
David Knight - 20th Jan 2015
Ramón Ayala pulls out the stops to create a irresistable confection of decadence and dangerous glamour for A-Trak's Push - starring ATL producer TM88 of 808 Mafia and his crew, model Dolorès Doll and girlfriends, and a baby tiger - all taking place in a castle in France.
"My approach to dance music has always been a bit left, so the last thing I wanted was one of those sparkler bottle 'lets make this night live forever!' videos," A-Trak said in an email to FADER. Ramón's video is certainly not that, and this sophisticated, erotic soirée climaxes in a sumptuous feast. How European is that?
"I wanted to make something with the opulence of a rap video, but shot like a renaissance painting," A-Trak continued. "It's kind of like Eyes Wide Shut meets Burning Man."
