Corin Douieb – the Hackney-based producer and DJ known as The Last Skeptik –  has recruited Shawn Butcher to direct and Ben Bailey Smith aka actor/comedian Doc Brown to both produce and star in the video for Cheerio. And although Skeptik's previous videos have included light-hearted fare (like, for instance, Pick Your Battles), this is darker, and resonant.

Ben/Doc plays an ordinary guy whose lifestyle excesses leads him into a spiral of self-destruction - but able to conjure a life-like mask on his face to cover up the evidence of his problems. At first he's able to put it on when needed, and take it off again. But then the mask takes over. It's a short parable of modern living, that leaves its mark.
