Soundtracked by the minimalist dystopian tones of Jon Hopkins, Chris Ranson documents a group of local kids in Berlin as they wander the city streets.

Ranson's cinematic and darkly atmospheric short compliments Hopkins' music to excellent effect.

"We were in Berlin for a few days shooting a promo and had some spare time on our hands and a camera and an amazing DOP (Stefan) so we decided to go and shoot some stuff on our time off.

"We’d met some local kids through the promo so I thought it might be cool to try and shoot something with a bit of an abstract narrative where we follow them through the city.

"We ended up shooting quite a lot of footage and I wasn’t entirely sure about what it could be till I started to edit it. Then will the help of the amazing track from Jon Hopkins it all seemed to come together and create this kind of moody journey through Berlin."
