The Kooks 'Around Town' (Director's Cut) by Ryan Hope
Ryan Hope brings the silver screen to the small screen for The Kooks' Around Town – a Tarantinoesque thriller involving an unusual hitman team, whose relationship is established in a three-minute intro sequence in this Director's Cut version of the promo.
With the scene set, 'Around Town' kicks in adding energy as the plot turns extremely violent. The track itself dictates the tempo for the remainder of the promo with NSFW scenes matched with a plot twist that wraps everything up nicely.
It's cold, brutal, with scenes of a disturbing nature - yet consuming. Actors Pom Klementieff and Chris Fairbank push the promo at every chance through their lack of emotion.
Tea and torture for breakfast? Why not...?
