Tom Vek 'Sherman (Animals In The Jungle)' by PAXI
David Knight - 2nd May 2014
New director PAXI interprets Tom Vek's reflection on Tom Wolfe's classic Eighties novel The Bonfire Of The Vanities, Sherman (Animals In The Jungle) - abstractly dramatising the dynamic of two characters –  trader Sherman McCoy and his mistress.Â
According to the director "the schizophrenic editing mirrors the life Sherman is losing control of, while the stillness of the mistress reflects her calmness on the eventual disgrace of her lover."
Meanwhile, Tom performs, in a very nice shirt.

PAXI:
"In relation to how Tom and I met:
We had some brief twitter interaction, then some emails and then I saw you on the street and you thought I was a weird fan.
Things got better from there."
