Kill J 'Bullet' by Martin Garde Abildgaard
A pristine bullet moving through space in super-slow motion is the compelling and highly appropriate opening shot of Danish director Martin Garde Abildgaard's video for the track Bullet, by the duo Kill J.
There's a tension going on between pin-sharp highly stylised visuals and soft human movements, and the black and white footage is a perfect match for “Bullet”s choppy hip-hop beats, Scandi-pop vocals and looping synth hooks.
The video was shot on Alexa, and graded by the award-winning Danish colourist Thomas Therchilsen, who's also worked with a couple of the the big boys in Danish cinema - namely Nicholas Winding-Refn (Drive, Only God Forgives) and Lars Von Trier (Nymphomaniac, Antichrist, etc).
