Wafia celebrates a new chapter in her life in Eugene McMahon's&nbsp;lockdown video for Pick Me.&nbsp;Utilising a block colour background and a variety of self-shot footage, Wafia relaxes into a new way of life, away from worries about men or work. Instead, she is connecting with her friends over video call, hanging out as they each&nbsp;spend their days doing something they love.&nbsp;Like many lockdown videos, the locations and setups are obviously kept to a minimum, given the nature of shooting options right now. That said, each performance feels refreshingly understated and intimate, a nice contrast to the dance-challenge videos that populated our feeds at the start of lockdown.&nbsp;

Rani feels the music in Michael Baldwin's video for her team-up with Norwegian duo Kream.It's a&nbsp;conceptual performance video, where the vibrations of the instruments are connected to a futuristic blue bath, the water pulsating along with the bass.With strong performances and spot-on art direction from&nbsp;Anthony Neale, the video feels current and exciting, and is as instantly replayable as the track it accompanies.

Matoma, MNEK &amp; Kiana Ledé will their dismembered limbs to free themselves from a nasty butcher, in this splendid video by Jeff Desom and Carlos Lopez Estrada.We open in a butcher's fridge, where the three artists' heads are sitting&nbsp;detached from their bodies. Some bad stuff has been going on. We cut to their hands, which are waking each other up&nbsp;and planning a strategy to regroup with all of the missing body parts. Facing off against the brute in the kitchen chopping up meat for his shop, the body parts are skilful, brave and hilarious in executing their goal.&nbsp;With a nod to&nbsp;old time cartoons, and a hint of Tim Burton, Desom and Lopez Estrada keep the gruesome themes on a level of fun, and gore and violence to a minimum.&nbsp;DoP Patrick Jones does a great job in bringing the idea to life, juxtaposing the brown, dimly lit hues of the kitchen with the bright blue, crisp colours inside the fridge.&nbsp;Armando Vernet's inspired art direction rounds off the project, populating the world with vintage Americana and charming DIY props, amongst some clever use of VFX to tie it all together. A breath of fresh air, definitely to be enjoyed on repeat.&nbsp;

Favourite Colour: Black&#39;s latest video for British singer Jasmine Thompson is a peaceful, nostalgic portrait of youth.Cutting between a sparse piano performance in an old, hazy function room and the more colourful elements of youthful hijinks, the promo depicts young people doing what young people do best: having fun. Exploring abandoned places, playing sports and hitting up the fair at night is all standard fare for the cast in this video, but the smiles on their faces seem melancholic when contrasted with the sad nostalgia of the track and the slow-motion pacing of the edit - as if trying to hang onto every moment for as long as possible.

Dylan Woodley of Insomnia Animations has created, executed, filmed &amp; very much entirely Lego-ed a shot-for-shot reenactment in Lego of Emil Nava&rsquo;s video for Ed Sheeran&rsquo;s Lego House &ndash; the one with Rupert Grint as the Ed lookalike and stalker fan.
With a certain irresistible logic, it has been made to coincide with the American release of Lego House. And as a copy of the original, Dylan Woodley has done a very impressive, bordering on remarkable job.
But anyone who says that Dylan&rsquo;s Lego stalker gives a more convincing performance than Rupert is just being a horrible bully&hellip;
