Vincent Catel makes his music video directing debut with a love story told in a series of beautifully composed moments for Paris-based producer&nbsp;Bamao Yendé and singer Le Diouck.Catel's video for&nbsp;Marvin Gueye follows the emotional life of a young couple, with their intimate life captured in wonderfully crafted sequences. Through Benoit Soler's cinematography, Catel employs a striking use of colour and light, together with the couple's performances, to convey a warm and sensual atmosphere.It's a notable debut from Catel, former creative director at Iconoclast Paris who worked on campaigns for&nbsp;Hermès, Dior, Paco Rabanne and&nbsp;Chloé, and music videos for The Blaze, before joining Diplomats in Paris to expand his artistic vision as a director.

Among a number of tortuous episodes,&nbsp;guest vocalists Amine and Slowthai also get to have their fun with the hapless guy.And even at the best of times, you really don't want&nbsp;Slowthai sitting on your chest...

Arnaud Bresson's video for Headie One x Fred again.. takes elements that we see repeatedly in grime and other urban videos - in particular the people - and puts them in another, more abstract&nbsp;environment. And it makes their presence all the powerful as a result.&nbsp;&nbsp;Although its&nbsp;for a video called GANG, the video shakes up that usual definition. The people featured here are from all generations, but their connection to Headie One seems palpable. This is about community - which actually extends way beyond his particular London postcode.&nbsp;There's a real spirit coming&nbsp;through in Arnaud Bresson's impressive video - expertly shot by DoP&nbsp;Paul Guilhaume - and it certainly shows a different side to Headie One.&nbsp;&nbsp;

The seven minute&nbsp;cinematic experience created by director Emmanuel Adjei for artist Sevdaliza explores and questions the fascinations and desires of the human mind, telling&nbsp;the story of the black man, who continues life in a cycle of oppression. The modern chains, of aspiring for success, power and decadence that create a false sense of freedom and autonomy.&nbsp;The video has a decisive sci-fi feel to it, the three year project utilising impressive special effects that give the expansive and empty desert an other-worldly feel. Having collaborated on other projects together in the past, Emmanuel Adjei and Sevdaliza have created a highly sophisticated, complex and beautifully executed piece. Alex Courtès&#39; new Cassius video is all about intriguing, ingenious, and ironic visual juxtapositions: stock shots from the&nbsp;commercial mainstream are spliced &ndash; horizontally and vertically - with deeply contrasting, graphically connected images to create a constant flow of striking combinations.&nbsp;It all starts with the Earth becoming the bottom half of a pile of tagliatelli. A momentous wait demands a momentous video. It&#39;s been 16 years since the last time The Avalanches released new music. Now its finally arrived, it was beholden on Fleur Fortune&nbsp;(from Fleur &amp; Manu)&nbsp;to produce something substantial for the first video. And Fleur has&nbsp;certainly delivered.&nbsp;The video for Frankie Sinatra&nbsp;takes a Harmony Korine-esque depiction of the Southern United States as a carnival of strange, and then runs with it at full speed towards full-on surrealism.Everyone here sips a drink that glows as if irradiated - the effects of which blur the lines of perception. Dogs operate heavy machinery, food comes to life and fishermen find themselves in a Vietnam War flashback, complete with assault weapon/brass instrument hybrids.It&#39;s a rich tapestry of great looking, funny scenes, and a seemingly massive logistical undertaking. Everything down to the casting has been executed meticulously. A music video worthy of the band who brought us the crazy genius of&nbsp;<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8BWBn26bX0" target="_blank">Frontier Psychiatrist</a>.

In Fleur and Manu&#39;s ambitious, layered, cameo-littered epic for&nbsp;A$AP Rocky&#39;s Everyday, we follow the irrepressible Rocky&#39;s career in reverse - from a point where all that lavish living has definitely caught up with him.Bloated, used-up, and face-down in a pool, Everyday (which samples Rod Stewart&#39;s vocal from In A Broken Dream)&nbsp;tracks an old rapper&#39;s past through flashbacks which see him popping prescription pills and going under the knife to retain his fading looks, becoming unrecognisable. Rod (who has looked after himself)&nbsp;makes a brief appearance too, and Mark Ronson, as this whirlwind of scenes of partying, drugs and girls reveals present-day Rocky in all his current gorgeousness.There&#39;s a&nbsp;&#39;money can&#39;t buy&nbsp;happiness&#39;&nbsp;message in there somewhere, but Rocky still comes out as more of a carpe diem&nbsp;type of guy...&nbsp;
