Intimate in the way it portrays emotion in the audience, the concept mirrors the deeply personal subject matter of the track. In celebration of the exhibition Allez La France!&nbsp;at Saatchi Yates, the London gallery and exhibiting artists collaborated with British jazz drummer and 2020 Mercury Prize nominee&nbsp;Moses Boyd on a unique composition made in response to the works in the exhibition - performed by Boyd, and captured by&nbsp;French filmmaker&nbsp;François Larpin.Boyd's piece was inspired by the work of&nbsp;Hams Klemens, Jin Angdoo, Kevin Pinsembert and Mathieu Julien - who&nbsp;make up the French collective also known by their contemporaries as “Moderne Jazz”. They began their work between Marseille and Paris, painting on walls and under tunnels, creating large abstract works that existed exclusively within public spaces. This is the first time that the French collective have been shown together, within a gallery space.Moses Boyd is popularly known for blending multiple genres into jazz to create various new sub-genres, and&nbsp;has described his own music as "an extension of black music, the diaspora" which draws influence from afrobeats, soca, reggae, drum and bass and jungle music. This performance acts as an introduction to a forthcoming film about the intersection between art and jazz, centered around the four artists showing at the Allez La France exhibition - also directed by François Larpin.

Between the strobes and snapshots of his exposed face, something isn't quite right...&nbsp;Refreshingly unique and futuristic, Rose pushes current trends aside and digs deep into the rich subject matter, and gets an extraordinary performance from the artist to anchor the whole project.&nbsp;

Olivia Rose directs a glittering festive promo for Jess Glynne's This Christmas.&nbsp;Following a variety of hapless characters, all experiencing their own mini-Christmas disasters - with burnt food and flaming hair taking the lead - the promo is a charming, fun-filled ride with plenty of seasonal cheer.Jess Glynne plays a number of these characters herself - including&nbsp;a delivery driver and drag queen (or king?) - and the result is some of the best moments in her videography so far, embodying all of the drama, energy and excitement that comes with the holiday period.&nbsp;The editing is also well executed, using match cut transitions and whip pans to make each vignette feel part of the same story.Overall, this is a feelgood and stylish video that marks Glynne's first Christmas track and visual, produced in collaboration with Amazon Originals. &nbsp;

Paloma Faith and director David Wilson lament the gentrification of London in brilliantly feisty fashion,&nbsp;in the wonderful&nbsp;promo for Gold.&nbsp;Decked out in a trademark whimsical dress and radiating heaps of&nbsp;energy, Paloma skips and dances down an East London market and into a building site, dangling from an excavator, kicking down doors, and just having a riotous time with some of her fellow, equally colourful&nbsp;residents.&nbsp;Paloma is magnetic as always, the supporting cast - all dancers in the Theo Adams Company - are great too, and DoP&nbsp;David Foulkes matches her energy in sweeping crane shots and fluid camera movement. It all adds up to sheer entertainment. Absolutely marvellously fabulous.[imgtoken data:1]

Then the imaginations and frustrations of the protagonists are given free rein as they become animated versions of themselves in an&nbsp;alternate dimension.Erol utlised her own skills as a 3D animator, and also collaborated on the 2D animation with hugely talented illustrator and animator Raman Djafari. The end result is a&nbsp;breathless whirlwind to match the band's latest emotional piledriver.&nbsp;

Ever since his marvellous video for Metronomy's The Bay, David Wilson has been able to make magic happen by the pool. And that's what happens in his video for Glass Animals' It's All So Incredibly Loud.GA's frontman Dave Bayley emerges through wisps of smoke to&nbsp;negotiate&nbsp;the diving board of a&nbsp;swimming pool in a suburban home at night. Yes, once again Wilson is making an English summer appear impossibly glamourous. He also&nbsp;brings us a heightened reality which&nbsp;almost seems nostalgic in its visual crispness.The intention&nbsp;is to capture a moment, and explore it's metaphorical meaning. Shot on both a Phantom and an Alexa, the time when Bayley inevitably enters the pool's water is stretched out to last as long as possible. Time is slowed, just as seems to happen&nbsp;when you dive into cold water - and also when you are faced with the emotional issues discussed in the song.Suitably Bayley also delivers a heartfelt performance to camera in this video that marks a triumphant return by David Wilson to the music video mainstream. A nod too to marvellous camerawork, supervised by DoP&nbsp;David Foulkes.&nbsp;[imgtoken data:1]

Glass Animals | It's All So Incredibly Loud

An ongoing personal project that Diana Kunst has been pursuing with her friend&nbsp;and muse Guindilla Ontanaya for several years has become an electrifying music video for Criss Cross, a previously unreleased Rolling Stones track from the 1970s.In a breathless, dizzying nearly-five minutes, Ontanaya romps across continents, exploring freedom and hedonism, and exercises her impudent whims to regularly go nude in public.&nbsp;Incorporating both motion&nbsp;film and&nbsp;photography, directed and shot&nbsp;by Kunst herself, it's all been brought together in a brilliant edit by Carlos Font Clos.&nbsp;It's the&nbsp;complete antithesis to the restrictive, locked-down nature of the past few months. But, ironically it was the limitations enforced by the pandemic crisis that made it happen.[imgtoken data:1]The basis of the project&nbsp;is a video diary that Kunst has worked on since 2015, filming Ontanaya in various places around the world, where she often manages to get naked.&nbsp;Polydor director of video Semera Khan realised its potential as a promo for the Stones song that was an outtake for their 1973 album Goat's Head Soup, and has just been released.Ultimately the video is a combination of that footage from 2015 onwards, and including a new film shoot that took place under strict quarantine conditions in Ibiza. The security required to make that happen, and to process the film footage meant it the edit&nbsp;completed just hours before its release.&nbsp;But the result is just about the most sexy, glamourous, quintessentially rock 'n roll video this year.&nbsp;
