Arlo Parks celebrates her impurities and those who uplift her, in Jak Payne's breathtaking&nbsp;new promo.&nbsp;The video plays out in a series of theatrical, minimalist sets, with different rooms and performance setups created within a studio setting.&nbsp;Experimenting with light, texture and experimental camerawork, the video channels&nbsp;the enigmatic soundscapes of the track into an ethereal, transcendent aesthetic, which blurs the lines between reality and fiction.&nbsp;The idea of family and community sit at the centre of the concept, and whilst the dreamlike aesthetic might suggest an otherworldly vibe, the star of the show is the everyday stories and emotions hinted at in the vignettes. Beautiful work.&nbsp;

Greg Barnes directs a subtly&nbsp;otherworldly visual for French multi-instrumentalist&nbsp;Vincent Fenton, known&nbsp;as French Kiwi Juice -&nbsp;or FKJ.Starring dancer Mès Lesne, the video is an emotional journey told through choreography, intense and affecting with plenty of room for individual interpretation.&nbsp;We see Lesne&nbsp;move to different beats, reflecting the personalities of those around him, whilst FKJ appears playing different instruments from the track, at different points in the video.&nbsp;The cinematography adds a romantic yet gritty layer to the visual, which encapsulates the nighttime scenery and the surreal vibes of the idea.&nbsp;It's a great twist on the interpretive dance concept, refreshing and engaging throughout.&nbsp;

Lewis Capaldi returns to action with Forget Me, and teams up with Louis Bhose to show he is up for a crazy, even mind-boggling challenge for its video -&nbsp;a shot-for-shot remake of a classic video from the early 1980s.Many viewers won't have seen the original when it first appeared - it is over forty years old, after all - but the iconic visual of WHAM!'s Club Tropicana&nbsp;is immediately recognisable in the opening frames of Bhose's video for Forget Me. Viewed through a contemporary lens, this is&nbsp;completely offbeat in the best way. Throw in Capaldi's cheeky personality and Bhose's love for whimsical ideas, and you're onto a winner.&nbsp;It's also something of a remarkable feat. And despite being a carefully structured&nbsp;remake, the video is still full of its own energy and vigour, largely down to the creative crew involved.[imgtoken data:1]&nbsp;"It's not exactly what I imagine most people had on their bingo cards for 'Big Lewis Capaldi Comeback Vid'," reflext Louis Bhose.&nbsp;"But hey, sometimes you gotta kill yourself precisely recreating a classic paean to hedonism for a melancholy song about second heartbreaks. It was really fun though - a week in San Antonio getting carsick and annoying our excellent local art department ('yes! that's almost it!!')."Hard to single out members of our incredible crew, but everyone went absolutely above and beyond to make the vid the best it could be. Big shouts to Lewis for being up for anything and choosing such an odd idea... And am happy to report that I got heat stroke on the shoot and live in hope that any BTS will never see the light of day."&nbsp;

Taz Tron Delix directs an emotional tale of intense love for Berwyn's Rubber Bands.The song by the Trinidad-born, London-based rapper takes us through a journey reflecting on times in love, the heartwarming memories that come in its wake, but then the flipside as a harsher reality intrudes, leading to regret and loss.Delix&nbsp;manifests these themes by creating a world where only Berwyn and his partner exist and their passionate relationship shapes the surroundings. Filmawi has directed a celebration of black British fashion and music for The Legacy Series, presented by YouTube and GUAP, which premiered on December 17th. Here's one of the highlights of the show, Pa Salieu performing Over There.&nbsp;&nbsp;Collaborating with Westfield London the event also included&nbsp;live performances and fashion by George the Poet, Tiana Major9, Ms Banks and NSG, showcasing black designers through runways and interviews hosted by Henrie Kwushue.Filmawi added&nbsp;his unique surrealism and gritty visuals which compliments the series and adds a cinematic touch, taking the viewer&nbsp;through a journey of how and why the artists and designers are imperative parts of black British culture. All these elements makes this project linger in the mind way after in the mind and a great reminder of black British talent that isn’t celebrated enough.&nbsp;

Jordan Stephens, once of Rizzle Kicks, plays Tiger, the inveterate stoner who finds himself on a weird, weed-related voyage of discovery in Jamie Whitby's marvellous short film to celebrate the 25th anniversary of a landmark Warp Records release - Nightmares On Wax's Smokers Delight.&nbsp;When Tiger discovers he has been locked out of his flat&nbsp;after a night of serious toking with his mates, it triggers a series of increasingly outlandish&nbsp;episodes - which moves from stoner-noir to full-on acid trip when our hero tumbles into full 2D animation.Music from Nightmare On Wax's classic 1995 album is an unobtrusive motif throughout the film, written as well as directed by Whitby. It is something of a departure&nbsp;from his largely conceptual work in music videos, but it shows that comedy-drama, mixed with a splash of pure surrealism, is his forté. He gets great performances from a talented cast, led by Stephens - possibly channelling Jeff Bridges&nbsp;in Lebowski - and has been rewarded with a nomination at this year's UKMVAs, in the&nbsp;Best Special Video Projects category, for his efforts.

Brock Neal Roberts directs an emotionally affecting video for Berwyn's Trap Phone.&nbsp;The song is about two individuals, one inside the bubble and one outside of it, and the trap phone is the only point of contact between the two.&nbsp;Exploring this&nbsp;idea of distant love, the concept shows the artist spending a lot of time making one-way calls, reaching out to someone who won't reciprocate the contact. In a haze of everyday moments spent with friends, the loss&nbsp;of&nbsp;this relationship becomes existential, questioning what love and life is from a human perspective.A rap break at the half-way mark adds a poignancy to the project, and the unbroken, almost one-minute long shot that complements this section is incredibly powerful.&nbsp;With a distinct visual style and otherwordly aesthetic - care of DoP&nbsp;Spike Morris - the video is a beautiful interpretation of the lyrics.&nbsp;Trap Phone was shot all over Romford with Berwyn's friends and at places that hold a special significance for the artist.&nbsp;

Brock Neal Roberts directs a stripped-back live visual for Berwyn's Glory, recorded especially for Later... With Jools Holland on BBC 2.&nbsp;Shot&nbsp;at his&nbsp;Mum’s house in Wolverhampton, the performance also features a final verse written as a reaction to recent events.Playing the keyboard in the corner with minimal&nbsp;lighting and next to no art direction, the focus is completely on Berwyn and his craft, as his Mum watches over him proudly.&nbsp;Intercut with profile shots of friends and family, the poignant lyrics hit hard, and this is the perfect example of a video that channels true emotion without any tricks or gags.&nbsp;
