Truman &amp; Cooper return to music video with a brilliantly gripping&nbsp;narrative piece for UK rapper Bourne.&nbsp;The rising Nottingham-based artist is shown journeying across Europe, on the run from his problems, whilst also spiralling into a hedonistic cycle of booze, sex and violence.&nbsp;The cinematic aesthetic is elevated by a minacious undercurrent of fear and trepidation, achieved through a breathless edit which reflects&nbsp;the emotional rollercoaster Bourne is experiencing. Terrific stuff.

Vincent Catel makes his music video directing debut with a love story told in a series of beautifully composed moments for Paris-based producer&nbsp;Bamao Yendé and singer Le Diouck.Catel's video for&nbsp;Marvin Gueye follows the emotional life of a young couple, with their intimate life captured in wonderfully crafted sequences. Through Benoit Soler's cinematography, Catel employs a striking use of colour and light, together with the couple's performances, to convey a warm and sensual atmosphere.It's a notable debut from Catel, former creative director at Iconoclast Paris who worked on campaigns for&nbsp;Hermès, Dior, Paco Rabanne and&nbsp;Chloé, and music videos for The Blaze, before joining Diplomats in Paris to expand his artistic vision as a director.

And then she visits the dark heart of America, in her unscheduled pitstops to a lapdance attended by gawping priests, and kids getting their shooting training in early at the firing range.And then Miley shows us her bum - <a href="https://www.nme.com/blogs/nme-blogs/easter-eggs-video-mark-ronson-miley-cyrus-nothing-breaks-like-heart-2416127" target="_blank">a &#39;Britney Spears reference&#39; apparently</a>.It&#39;s a wild ride alright - including a spectacular entrance by Ronson himself, possibly channeling Tom Cruise in any Mission Impossible movie.&nbsp;Consequently the video is a superbly dense and impressively satirical exercise by We Are From LA&nbsp;- and executive produced by Romain Gavras -&nbsp;for a sure-to-be-huge sad-country-disco banger...

Fleur Fortune&#39;s compelling&nbsp;short film for Travis Scott is a neo-futurist, dystopian look at near-death experiences.Shot in Detroit, the clip starts off by essentially establishing Scott as an unlikeable figure, and one in need of redemption. A brilliantly executed long takem shot in a car interior as it moves through the Detroit streets is the build up to a narrative-altering event, and one which takes this video from gritty, realistic short film territory straight into the realm of transformative experience.A masked figure walks forwards as the world moves backward around him - buildings crumble. We assume that it&#39;s Travis himself, as he&#39;s visited from people in the earlier part of the narrative. An out-of-body experience? Purgatory? Something else entirely?The video has a strange symmetry to it, with scenes from the first half of the 15 minute short being mirrored and echoed cleverly in this much more fantastical second act. It&#39;s an ambitious and enigmatic work - being shown exclusively on&nbsp;Apple Music for 90 days - that invites repeated viewing.[imgtoken data:1]
