C Prinz directs a vibrant futuristic promo for sister double act Chloe x Halle's Forgive Me - the director and artists'&nbsp;follow-up to the post-modern <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2020/05/27/chloe-x-halle-do-it-c-prinz/64987" target="_blank">Do It</a>.&nbsp;Opening with the lyrics "Don't ever ask for permission, ask for forgiveness", the fiery visual depicts the sisters dragging an unconscious, bound man to the middle of a rainforest set, backdropped by a glitchy greenscreen.&nbsp;Switching between several performance setups, the focus is very much on styling and aesthetics, with live action footage being intercut with 3D scans, irridescent VFX, and lo-fi dance cutaways.&nbsp;Refreshingly bold and stylish, the high-energy promo is a riotous trip through avant-garde concepts and unforgettable performances.&nbsp;

Khalid and Summer Walker get&nbsp;fast and furious in Daniel Russell's high octane video for Eleven.&nbsp;Packed with vibrant colour and early 00's exuberance, the video explores a drag race across Los Angeles (with cars, not drag queens), where Khalid is pitted against a selection of eclectic characters.Glossy, smooth and oozing with production value, it's a brilliant visual complement to the enigmatic track. A high-energy choreography section at the climax of the video strengthens the 00's throwback, reminiscent of the days where budgets where wild and the ideas were even wilder.&nbsp;

Atlanta singer-songwriting sisters (and Beyoncé protegées) Chloe X Halle have their breakout hit Do It visualised in a classic-with-a-twist video by director/choreographer&nbsp;C Prinz (aka Sarah C Prinz).The Bailey sisters perform the song through a number of sumptuously art directed studio set-ups. But Prinz tweaks the notion of a conventional glossy video: camera positions reveal the edges of the sound stage; VFX suddenly intrude, at times moving the girls' around the set.Then the edit contributes to the deconstruction too, by bouncing between&nbsp;scene to scene from the start. The rule-book, to gradually reveal each set-up, has been thrown away, which will make&nbsp;it all the more interesting to its&nbsp;visually literate viewership.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Hannah Lux Davis explores that question, and the idea of perfection,&nbsp;in her video for Anne-Marie&#39;s Perfect For Me.Starting with an interview with the singer, and then moving on to ask that question of all manner of people, this is a very engaging piece of work. It strikes an intimate tone and explores the sharp edges of beauty portrayal in the media. Anne-Marie gets her photo shoot, and a stab a sexy perfection, but the point is its a temproary thing.Most of the time, she&#39;s being herself - and very happy too -&nbsp;reflecting the important message of the song. This is&nbsp;very uplifting, radiating positivity, and addressing the idea of perfection in a way that will probably have a lot of viewers asking themselves that same question.

Here&#39;s an impressively constructed video for Jonas Blue&#39;s latest banger, directed by Jay Martin.&nbsp;It&#39;s autumn in New York, and time for romance, as a young man searches for the girl whose Polaroid he keeps in his wallet. That storyline, with a very sweet ending, is incorporated with excellent performances by guest singers Liam Payne and Lennon Stella around Manhattan, and some time-lapse footage of the city&#39;s great landmarks.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
