The result is a blockbusting&nbsp;epic six-minute 2D and 3D&nbsp;animated video that imagines Belshazzar's Feast... aka The End of the World.From the moment a mysterious&nbsp;gowned Samaritan tends to the last moments of a dying man in a parched desert, we are unmistakeably placed in a dystopian world ravaged by pollution and drought. Then the elite class begin to arrive for their exclusive party in the desert - including a fat, bloated US President and a bunch of faceless, bowler-hatted British civil servants...[imgtoken data:1]But their dastardly rule of the Earth is about to come to an end. The gowned figure is none other than legendary Maiden mascot Eddie, who summons the Four Bikers of the Apocalypse to destroy the vampire who is feeding off the souls of the young, perpetuating the rule of the elite...Derived from an original storyline from Maiden frontman&nbsp;Bruce Dickinson, and storyboards by veteran Pixar artist Mark Andrews, Livesey&nbsp;and&nbsp;Blinkink&nbsp;then pulled out all the stops to bring the production to life - and this was eight months in the making.The combination of 2D and 3D animation involved&nbsp;around sixty crew members, working across the globe in the UK, France, Spain, Norway, Brazil, Ireland, Italy, Hungary, Romania, Germany, Greece, USA, and Canada.It's an epic take on Armageddon - which becomes the basis of a new beginning...[imgtoken data:2]

Veteran editor Sam Sneade has joined Stitch Editing in a move that has seen his company Speade close and several other of the company's editors also join Stitch.Gareth&nbsp;McEwen, Sacha Szwarc, Carlos Font Clos, Rich Woolway and&nbsp;Sam Allen, as well as EP&nbsp;Kirsty Oldfield, have also joined Stitch Editing, as a result of Sneade deciding to step away from running a company, and to fully concentrate on his chosen craft.Sneade has cut some of the most iconic ads ever made - including&nbsp;Guinness 'Surfer' and Levis 'Odyssey'. His company Speade operated for&nbsp;25 years, working across feature film, HETV, commercial, short film and music videos. When he decided to close the company&nbsp;Sneade says that Stitch was the natural home for his operation.<blockquote>To continue Speade’s bespoke traditions and maintain our guiding spirit it simply had to be Stitch.</blockquote>"We started talking seriously some time ago, and it was immediately apparent to all what an exciting proposition this would be as our thoughts and aspirations were so closely aligned," he explains. "To continue Speade’s bespoke traditions and maintain our guiding spirit it simply had to be Stitch. I've watched how [Stitch owners] Tim [Hardy] and Leo [King] have grown this remarkable roster over the years and, like us, they have kept creativity to the fore. It’s not an easy trick and to retain an essential humanity to the subsequent offering is very rare indeed.”King and Hardy have also commented about the addition of the Speade roster to Stitch: “We have admired the guys at Speade for a long time so know they are experts in their craft and brilliant people, there’s no better combination. As well as their award-winning commercial work, Speade has an excellent reputation in the longform world, in feature films and episodic TV. They will all bring something special to the fold to inspire us to continue to produce exceptional creative work."We are proud of the team we have built up, their talent and passion are what makes Stitch. The new video for Police Dog Hogan&#39;s Devon Brigade is a real family affair &ndash;&nbsp;appropriately so, considering story behind&nbsp;the song.It revolves around the life of Paul Studholme, great uncle of PDF singer (and Blink Films MD)&nbsp;James Studholme, who was killed at the third battle of Ypres, better known as Paschendaele, at the age of 19 on 4th October 1917.While James performs the song, the video was directed by Arthur Studholme,&nbsp;to honour the memory of 2nd&nbsp;Lt Paul. F. W. Studholme of the Devonshire Regiment, and to mark the 100th&nbsp;anniversary of his death.&nbsp;This film&nbsp;features Rafe Studholme playing his Great Great Uncle, and shows Paul on his last few days of leave before rejoining his unit for the final time.&nbsp;Paul was only 19 when he was killed, the same age Rafe is now.&nbsp;They also both shared a strikingly similar upbringing in Devon, the backdrop for this beautiful film, that was edited by Sam Sneade.
