In the cold light of day, a young man reflects guiltily on the previous&nbsp;night's infidelity, in Tom Gorst's relatable video for Goddard's banging&nbsp;remix of Cat Burns's Go.The video features a believable&nbsp;performance by Zirihi Zadi as the young man,&nbsp;with Gorst neatly intercutting between his party misbehaviour&nbsp;and the&nbsp;painful&nbsp;Morning After - and then freezing the action for Burns&nbsp;to make her entrance.The lead actor also supplies the&nbsp;dynamism to match this drum &amp; bass makeover of Burns'&nbsp;withering pop-soul ballad, in a dance choreographed by Supple Nam that bleeds from night into day - classily captured by Thomas English.

Blake Claridge directs a poignant and&nbsp;meditative promo for modern classical artist Alexis Ffrench.&nbsp;The video for Guiding Light builds upon themes of love and loss, and depicts a woman standing on the shoreline, allowing the waves to wash over her bare feet, while&nbsp;an upright piano stands&nbsp;just metres away. Then Ffrench himself appears, playing the refrain of Guiding Light on the piano.&nbsp;The idea of connection to nature and to a higher power is elevated by the stormy, unsettled weather, and the subtlety of the performance allows viewers to impress their own experiences onto the concept and form their own attachments to the music."On the recce, the sun was out and I had planned things for the perfect sunset," explains Blake Claridge.&nbsp;"But this is England,&nbsp;so on the shoot day we were coming off the back of a storm and shooting in torrential rain. But it was perfect, and just created more drama to what was always going to be a pure and simple piece."

He's joined by a giant teddy bear who becomes the buddy he desperately needs. And this bear definitely has his back.&nbsp;&nbsp;It's a fun ride, intercut with a charismatic performance, in which YUNGBLUD eventually cuts loose in characteristic fashion. That&nbsp;makes this a must for his mascara-wearing massive.

Sometimes its hard to get past the cheeky all-conquering chap that he presents in the videos directed by Vaughan Arnell, but Robbie Williams projects a quite&nbsp;different personality&nbsp;in the video for Mixed Signals - which also marks Nice &amp; Polite&#39;s CEO Ross Anderson&#39;s directing debut.Told mostly from the POV perspective of a girl on a wild night out with her girlfriends, Robbie is left on the end of the phone, frustrated and angry that she&#39;s not responding to his texts and calls - and that&#39;s after saying she was enjoying a quiet night in...Utilizing live action, VFX and animation to tell the story, the video also comes with two alternate endings - one featuring Robbie&#39;s wife <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_mwLLLpk8IE" target="_blank">Ayda Field</a>, and the other featuring old Take That bandmate <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nqyPAWBjzEs" target="_blank">Gary Barlow</a> &ndash;&nbsp;to keep you guessing about whether this young lady is worthy of Robbie&#39;s affections, or a bit of a wrong &#39;un. And that makes for an notable first dip into directing by Ross Anderson.

Shot in Mexico and London, the new White Lies video&nbsp;by the Mexican director David Pablos takes us to the same place - the bedroom. But what happens there is not entirely what we might expect.&nbsp;With a variety of pairings (and more) Pablos explores the human condition - sleeping, waking up, showing a variety of emotions - from tenderness to&nbsp;thoughtfulness to coldness. Ultimately, as White Lies singer Harry McVeigh joins the cast,&nbsp;the mood is melancholic and reflective rather than arousing.One for the head rather than anywhere else, and very nicely done.
