Keith Schofield used the morphing effects for his recent video for Bastille, and now Ewan Jones Morris&nbsp;has done something similar, and just as effective, for&nbsp;Vancouver outfit Dralms&#39; first release Crushed Pleats - with more emphasis&nbsp;on the sheer wonder (and creepiness)&nbsp;of the transformations.This starts with changing between a young man and woman, moving on to objects and mixing and matching body parts. Ewan says it was all achieved with &quot;really good acting and reanimated olives&quot;, and he&#39;s currently working on a new film with regular partner Casey Raymond for Welsh artist&nbsp;Bedwyr Williams.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Ewan Jones Morris, recent guest at BUG with directing partner Casey Raymond,&nbsp;has followed up his excellent Pinkunoizu video for Moped, with this straightforward&nbsp;performance vid for his pals Islet, made much punchier by adding GoPro cameras to the band&#39;s instruments, and on a backpack worn by the bandmembers. The effect is rather like Radiohead&#39;s Jigsaw Falling Into Place video (by BUG host Adam Buxton) without the helmet-cams...&nbsp;

This video for Pinkunoizu&#39;s Moped by Ewan Jones Morris is about stuff. Lots of stuff. With people doing lots of different&nbsp;stuff to that stuff. And they&#39;re doing it&nbsp;in a completely random yet strangely ordered way.The result is a hypnotic exercise of&nbsp;inventive play with household objects, and particularly good use of a watermelon and plunger. As Ewan explains below, it was inspired by the work of Japanese artist Koki Tanaka, and it&#39;s&nbsp;very enjoyable indeed. And he made his local hardware store owner very happy.&nbsp;It also follows his splendid cookery-themed<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kk6IwOuCmLA&amp;feature=youtu.be" target="_blank">&nbsp;video-trailer for the new Pinkunoizu album The Drop</a>. &nbsp;As usual the South Wales-based director has been&nbsp;busy.&nbsp;He and regular directing partner Casey Raymond have also&nbsp;been busy recently making a film&nbsp;with artist&nbsp;Bedwyr Williams, which is now rocking the Wales Pavilion at the Venice Biennale 2013.
