KLVDR's 11 minute epic for Stormzy's big return with Mel Made Me Do It is remarkable in a number of ways, and not least of course due to the star quality and sheer number of the cameo&nbsp;appearances. And yes, that does include the Special One...More to the point is the ambition of the piece. Fom the chatshow hosted by Jonathan Ross and ZeZe Mills, with Stormz sharing the sofa with Louis Theroux and Dina Asher-Smith - watched by Usain Bolt, at his home in Jamaica -&nbsp;to performance elements in the studio and the meeting with Jose Mourihno, to the momentous final chapter bringing a couple of generations of Black British talent together that includes a tribute to the late Jamal Edwards.At that point, Stormzy hands over duties to provide the spoken-word piece called Greatness - written by Wretch 32 and read by Michaela Cole. It's a&nbsp;quietly powerful climax of an impressive and entertaining production - this was a five day shoot,&nbsp;plus shooting Bolt in Kingston - that amounts to a big statement of intent by&nbsp;Stormzy - and reminds us of his unmistakeable charisma.&nbsp;&nbsp;And of course, the eponymous Mel, stylist Melissa Holdbrook-Akpose, namechecked by Stormzy in the songtitle, is there too, both behind and in front of camera - with her lint roller.

Anne Marie and Little Mix celebrate in style, in the epic video for Kiss My (Uh-Oh), directed by Hannah Lux Davis.&nbsp;There’s a lot of fun to be had, as the&nbsp;gang travel on a party plane, do shots, dress up in wedding attire and get serenaded by a group of strippers.&nbsp;Shot whilst Leigh-Anne and Perrie were pregnant, the group are split between the hotel room and the club, and it leads to a series of hilarious events.&nbsp;Bold, vibrant and action-packed,&nbsp;this has Hannah Lux Davis' glossy trademark style written all over it, and proves why she is one of the most in-demand music video directors of this generation.&nbsp;

MoStack and AJ Tracey take us back to moments of iconic TV, from the Seventies&nbsp;to the present day, in the Wowa-directed video for Miss Me.&nbsp;MoStack and AJ find themselves in a Soul Train-style show, and channelling <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?index=25&amp;list=PLvbqcS6cuAymiomYhNZApUc6wy96ONNG1&amp;v=cwQgjq0mCdE&amp;app=desktop" target="_blank">that Spike Jonze video for </a><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?index=25&amp;list=PLvbqcS6cuAymiomYhNZApUc6wy96ONNG1&amp;v=cwQgjq0mCdE&amp;app=desktop" target="_blank">Kanye and Lil Pump</a>, before becoming their regular selves - and it's all being watched in the future,&nbsp;Gogglebox-style, by Burberry-wearing pensioner-versions of the likeable pair.&nbsp;All the time-hopping could get messy, if not for the stunning aesthetics that tie together each setup. Ollie Hogan's&nbsp;art direction is top-notch, there's a great supporting cast of dancers in the Seventies' sequence - and DoP&nbsp;Sam Meyer merges the different visual styles&nbsp;with&nbsp;vibrant lighting and dynamic zooms.&nbsp;

Nima Nourizadeh makes a rare return to music videos, teaming up once again with Hot Chip - with whom he first achieved great things - to create a distinctive take on the range of human emotion&nbsp;for Melody Of Love.It starts with Hot Chip&#39;s Alexis Taylor&#39;s near-disembodied head in a mirrored box, altered by lighting changes. Taylor&#39;s bandmates faces then appear merging into each other, and then a much bigger cast start to be introduced. These heads appear in a box, constantly changing and offering a kind of live-action animation of emotion. It&#39;s an intense experience,&nbsp;reflects the depth of feeling within this lovely song.This very much feels like a close collaboration between the band and&nbsp;Nourizadeh,&nbsp;who directed Hot Chip&#39;s legendary <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u7dOuKbuEE4" target="_blank">Over And Over video</a> back in 2006, and many&nbsp;other great Noughties videos, before heading for Hollywood, directing Project X and American Ultra.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Nourizadeh worked with UNIT Studios VFX team, led by creative director Pete Rystra, carried out all head replacement, cosmetic clean up and colour balancing in the video, while UNIT&#39;s creative director of colour Denny Cooper added a low key grade that married with Nima&rsquo;s backlog of work with the band,&nbsp;keeping everything as naturalistic as possible.&ldquo;We were thrilled to be able to work on this spot with Nima,&quot; says UNIT Studios&#39; executive producer Bumble Davis. &quot;Hot Chip are artists that have a lot of love with our team, and combined with directing talent such as Nima&rsquo;s meant it was a very easy decision to jump in on this one. The VFX team that had to work round the clock to carry out all the huge amount of 2D work in such tight timings.&nbsp;All those involved were so passionate about the project that they even spilled in to their free time to bring it to life against the clock.&nbsp;&quot;Nima was an absolute delight to work with - affable and relaxed, with a very clear vision of exactly what we needed to do, coupled with extraordinary attention to detail aptly seen in this memorable video.&rdquo;

Much goofy fun ensues, as the Youth Hymns guys indulge their obsessions with the 1980s and all things VHS, all to a soundtrack of irresistable electro-pop.&quot;Pip wanted to shoot in LA.
