Director trio Bleu Desert create an unsettling and controversial promo for French rap group&nbsp;S-Crew.&nbsp;The immersive concept follows a police car during a night-time patrol in Paris, cleverly shot&nbsp;using only interior and exterior car mounts, depicts the BAC (Anti-Criminality Brigade of the National Police) antagonising and abusing various people on the street - and planting evidence on their targets.[imgtoken data:1]The latter part of the clip sees the payback - the vehicle is&nbsp;vehicle commandeered by the S-Crew themselves, who take it on their own tour of the neighbourhood&nbsp;- and building to a fiery climax.&nbsp;Shot on 35mm to give the video a raw, cinematic aesthetic, this stirring and thought-provoking video is a must-watch introduction to an exciting new directing collective.&nbsp;

Directing duo Pantera - that's Pato Martinez and Francisco Canton&nbsp;- have directed a series of wonderfully zany&nbsp;mini-films to tease French musician Jacques' new album Ordinary Victories.&nbsp;The nine-minute epic introduces us to the artist - and his distinctive hairstyle - as&nbsp;his head opens up to reveal a smorsgabord of&nbsp;weird and wonderful influences.Pantera and Jacques have released the project in chapter form, which serve up individual moments from the album within a surreal drama, and that also serves the wonderfully absurdist quality of their collaboration. Marius Gonzalez directs a frenetic assault on the senses, in his promo for masked French rapper Kekra.&nbsp;In the video for&nbsp;Dans L'dos, we follow an armed Special Ops&nbsp;squad&nbsp;that enters an underground building, leading to a confrontation with Kekra in his base, and a brilliantly-staged&nbsp;brutal&nbsp;hand-to-hand fight.Taking inspiration from the fight scene in Park Chan-wook's Oldboy - and&nbsp;other references such as Son Of Man and The&nbsp;Raid - the video is tense and action-packed from the first frame to the last, with&nbsp;Romain Malavoy's cinematography adding a cinematic polish to the concept.&nbsp;Wild, unabashed and endlessly watchable, this a&nbsp;compelling video from an exciting young French director, with plenty of his saturated graphic design work peppered throughout.[imgtoken data:1][imgtoken data:2]&nbsp;

Marius Gonzalez provides further evidence of prodigious potential with this seethingly visceral video, where indie artist Joanna teams with actress Raika Hazanavicius to play a criminal pair whose seduction-strategy leads to murder.Layers of love, lust, jealousy pulsate through proceedings, as Joanna's mark falls under her spell, and triggers a mixed reaction from Raika, while guest artist Laylow, plays the demonic devilish character of the songtitle, prompting the couple into serious acts of Badness.&nbsp;Gonzalez's palette of stormy red, with rumbling sound design sets the scene, and his camera never stops moving, establishing a scenario where anything can happen.&nbsp;"The real starting point for the music video is Wong Kar-wai's Fallen Angels," says the director.&nbsp;"I'm a fan of the visual universe and especially this story of a criminal duo."

You came to a fork in the road and had to make a choice of which path to take - one leads to glory, the other certain death (or at the very least you end up back on the previous page). Well, this video is essentially the interactive music video equivalent.Following a man from his last days in college, you navigate through adulthood via a series of moral dilemmas. Will you end up ruling the world, or waste your life playing video games?It is an incredibly ambitious project, beautifully executed by Chassaing and Solab in their latest collaboration with Naive New Beaters - and the payoff is well worth the effort. The creative range of short vignettes and the various combinations of unlockables will keep you hooked for ages.

Julien Lassort&#39;s video for Ásgeir is a complex, brooding science fiction piece on the interconnectivity of humans, in a future where individuals leap between each other&#39;s personal VR experiences.&nbsp;The four intertwined stories leave out all but the slightest hints of exposition in favour of set pieces coated in Black Mirror-esque digital unease. Lassort manages to establish a convincing cinematic world of the&nbsp;near-future through very ambitious means -&nbsp;it&#39;s engrossing, and confusing, and&nbsp;beautifully executed.&nbsp;

French artist ALB has released Endless Together, the first single off&nbsp;his third album soon to be released - now paired with this entertaining&nbsp;love story between the singer&nbsp;his female robot lover directed by Colin Solal Cardo.Shot and styled in a retro futuristic style, the video sees the artist romancing the sexy robot Daisy - who at first makes&nbsp;an appearance on his television&nbsp;screen only - by performing the song for her. Then during an interlude, Daisy sings back at him while dancing seductively on a neon-lit stage, and&nbsp;joins him at the keyboard to perform her reply. As for his reaction, you could say he was struck by lightning.&nbsp;
