Another modern jazz classic from Kamasi Washington and his amazing band gets a mesmerizing visual by Jenn Nkiru, as experimental as the music.It&#39;s a single-shot and in many ways a still-life too, revealed in a dead-slow reverse zoom to reveal three night-gowned and sashed women performing in front of a flag - in fact, it&#39;s artist-director&nbsp;Larry Achiampong&#39;s work&nbsp;Pan-African Flag For The Relic Traveller. And then the zoom reverses to close in one face even more close-up than before.&nbsp;The track is Hub-Tones,&nbsp;taken from Kamasi Washington&#39;s second album Heaven and Earth,&nbsp;out on Young Turks.

Instead of a video for one track from American jazz saxophonist Kamasi Washington&#39;s new album Heaven And Earth, director Jenn Nkiru and creative director Bradford Young are behind an innovative campaign of one minute &#39;teaser&#39; videos for four different songs.The first two in the series are Fists Of Fury and&nbsp;Space Travelers Lullaby, featuring enigmatic scenarios that draw&nbsp;you into Washington&#39;s glorious music.In Fists Of Fury, a trio of dancers in 1930s&nbsp;Ethiopian miliary garb execute a jaunty running dance around a red star; in Space Travelers Lullaby, a mysterious ceremony takes place in a forest, where a red-garbed priest bestows a blessing upon a young woman. And both certainly makes you want to see and hear more.

If you could go on a date with anyone living or dead, who would it be? Alt-J made their picks and that became the basis of Young Replicant&#39;s science fiction dance film.Acting on behalf of the band, a machine in a subterranean bunker chooses Sylvia Plath, Lee Miller and Anne Boleyn, or at least it chooses their memories. Projected through small glass discs we intercut between these haunting, animated dance scenes (choreographed by Darcy Wallace) that are given a personality based on a computer&#39;s understanding of history.There&#39;s a detached, uncanny valley element to the clip - Alex Takacs aka Young Replicant&#39;s second for the band&#39;s current album, after the brilliant&nbsp;<a href="http://www.promonews.tv/videos/2017/04/18/alt-j-3ww-young-replicant" target="_blank">3WW</a> earlier this year &ndash; as these renditions of historical figures live again for a fleeting moment before fading with the light of the projector.

With nearly 3 million hits on Youtube and one of the most anticipated releases of 2011, Adele&#39;s opening gambit for the forthcoming 21 album campaign, is the earthy Brit-soul of Rolling In The Deep accompanied by an excellent promo by Sam Brown.With all departments turning in great work, this classy well-shot promo has some nice touches throughout, including some Jurassic Park-style water ripples masking the kick drum and a nice bit of slow-mo on the dancer in the white powder, all building in intensity to suit the escalating soundtrack.
