Federico&nbsp;Urdaneta directs 'a&nbsp;romp through Margate' for local band Pigeon - who include director Tom Dream in their ranks - featuring dancer Danni Spooner as an&nbsp;impish sea creature,&nbsp;emerging from the surf to get up to mischief in town.Spooner's elemental&nbsp;performance that provides the focus of the video for It's You, and as they&nbsp;clash&nbsp;with the locals, their energy matches the raucous drive of the track.The band also provide a foil for their antics, and as evening falls, that finally inspire a quieter moment.

In celebration of the exhibition Allez La France!&nbsp;at Saatchi Yates, the London gallery and exhibiting artists collaborated with British jazz drummer and 2020 Mercury Prize nominee&nbsp;Moses Boyd on a unique composition made in response to the works in the exhibition - performed by Boyd, and captured by&nbsp;French filmmaker&nbsp;François Larpin.Boyd's piece was inspired by the work of&nbsp;Hams Klemens, Jin Angdoo, Kevin Pinsembert and Mathieu Julien - who&nbsp;make up the French collective also known by their contemporaries as “Moderne Jazz”. They began their work between Marseille and Paris, painting on walls and under tunnels, creating large abstract works that existed exclusively within public spaces. This is the first time that the French collective have been shown together, within a gallery space.Moses Boyd is popularly known for blending multiple genres into jazz to create various new sub-genres, and&nbsp;has described his own music as "an extension of black music, the diaspora" which draws influence from afrobeats, soca, reggae, drum and bass and jungle music. This performance acts as an introduction to a forthcoming film about the intersection between art and jazz, centered around the four artists showing at the Allez La France exhibition - also directed by François Larpin.

Molly Burdett's latest video for singer-songwriter Arlo Parks explores&nbsp;feelings of loneliness and insecurity, whilst emitting a sense of confusion and disconnection.Arlo’s dream-like voice acts as a guiding force for Saidu, the boy in&nbsp;the video. Shot during lockdown in an abandoned Jewish boarding school, Burdett depicts Arlo as the narrator,&nbsp;using low angles to place her in a position of silent power. Surreal imagery reinforces the sense of the boy's turmoil in a hyper-real setting.

Molly Burdett's fourth collaboration with Arlo Parks, for the yearningly beautiful Black Dog, tackles the subject of mental health in a way that is as gently supportive as the song's lyrics.The song comes a matter of weeks after Arlo was named an ambassador for CALM, and documents what she describes as&nbsp;"the feeling of helplessness that comes along with watching a loved one suffer".&nbsp;Burdett's video similarly focusses upon the quiet fortitude and support of the carers.In simple yet effective&nbsp;vignettes, we see parents supporting their troubled loved ones, intercut with Arlo's performance. Not over-dramatised yet seamlessly composed, and all the more powerful for it, the video builds on the promise of Brudett's previous videos she&nbsp;directed for Parks last year, including <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2019/06/14/arlo-parks-george-molly-burdett/59221" target="_blank">George</a>.

Miles Ridgway’s photography gives the video the heady, sensual atmosphere of a hot summer day.This is Burdett’s second collaboration with Arlo Parks, in a series of gentle, carefully sketched studies of young&nbsp;Londoners. It was inspired by the romantic cult of Lord Byron, the self-destructive&nbsp;bad-boy of Georgian London, who allegedly seduced half a city."I imagined someone reckless and beautiful leaving a trail of broken things in their wake - unaware of the damage they’ve caused," says Burdett.
