Directing duo Mathy &amp; Fran return to music videos with a very characteristic piece for Georgia's latest pop gem: sensitive, humane and pastel-hued. And it touches on a subject that many&nbsp;people have faced, literally and metaphorically.&nbsp;In the video for Give It Up For Love, a range of characters take turns to stand upon a high diving board, and are challenged to make an all-important leap.It's a relatable moment where personal courage is required, but given a metaphorical&nbsp;element by it's staging, on a bright yellow platform against a pastel-pink studio background. And when the characters start to leap, they are captured in mid-air, in a state of blissful freedom.It's a simple yet powerful concept to match the sentiment at the heart of the song - letting yourself go to allow love to come in.&nbsp;Georgia's empathetic performance helps tie the whole project together.[imgtoken data:1]&nbsp;

Barns Courtney gets an endoscopy in a surreal doctors practice, in the video for Hollow&nbsp;directed by Mathy &amp; Fran. As the doctor uses a thin camera to search inside Courtney’s body, a 404 warning appears on-screen (a nod to the album title)&nbsp;and no organs can be found.That is until Courtney and his band appear, performing the song and jumping around the pitch black space. The doctor is alarmed, but she has just the medicine for it. From then on, things get weirder and weirder, until Courtney breaks through and rejects the doctor’s orders, turning the practice into his new performing space.The surrealism and colour palettes are reminiscent of Gondry, and Mathy &amp; Fran show that they have complete control over their signature style, perfectly balancing colour and texture to great effect. This one is a trip, and not to be missed.

Two Door Cinema Club get upstaged by&nbsp;ventriloquist dummies in the video for Once, directed by Mathy &amp; Fran.Fresh off the back of Au/Ra's Dance in the Dark, the directors have gone in a lighter, more quirky direction for this project. In the video, the group are being interviewed on a&nbsp;vintage variety TV show. However all the attention is on the puppets, not the band.&nbsp;As we see the grisly puppets get treated like stars, with their own glam squads, photoshoots and champagne, the group starts to get jealous, culminating in a gory climax to reinstate their independence. It's a bit of a shocker - but well worth waiting for...&nbsp;&nbsp;

It's&nbsp;a sensation of synchronised movement and monochromatic art direction.The simple concept is haunting and ethereal, picturing a group of cast dancing and sprinting around Au/Ra - that's Jamie Lou Stenzel, another teenage prodigy of dark electropop - as she performs in a white infinity studio.The close-ups of the performance are hypnotic, and the presence of just one bright colour -&nbsp;Au/Ra’s turquoise hair-&nbsp;is inspired, ensuring our focus is always on her, especially in the darker scenes at the end. A simple idea, executed brilliantly - with choreography by Alexandra Green and a fine edit by Joce Hockings.&nbsp;

Mathy Tremewan and Fran Broadhurst - aka Mathy &amp; Fran - are a directing duo (and real couple) who&#39;s captivating, sophisticated visuals have graced videos for the likes of Anna Calvi, Russ Chimes, Bipolar Sunshine, Kodaline and, recently,&nbsp;<a href="http://www.promonews.tv/videos/2015/05/05/east-india-youth-beaming-white-mathy-fran">East India Youth</a>&nbsp;- their darkest video yet. As his surname suggests, Matty&nbsp;comes from Cornwall, while Fran&nbsp;hails from Cambridge. They now live in Hackney, East London. So we sent them the Questionnaire to find out just how cool they really are...&nbsp;Education:&nbsp;​Mathy: Fran and I both studied Film in Southampton, which is where we met.&nbsp; Fran: Yep - Southampton is where creativity and love blossomed. Though I&rsquo;m also proud of my City &amp; Guilds in Experimental Mark Making.. very grateful my parents never tried to make me more academic. &nbsp;Previous occupations:&nbsp;M:&nbsp;&nbsp;Teaching assistant, record shop employee. I could spend a long time discussing the intricacies of buckwheat.What was the first music video you worked on - and what were you doing on that job?&nbsp;M: Chopping a cucumber on screen in a video a friend of ours made &ndash; I&rsquo;m not sure it ever got released so my knife skills are sadly not on show to the world.&nbsp; F: Mine was a self-directed, produced and edited number for my Art GNVQ. &nbsp;I cast myself as the Lady of Shalott, wore my mum&rsquo;s old wedding dress and went off to jump in a lot of dirty rivers. &nbsp;It got a distinction. &nbsp;<blockquote>&quot;Favourite job of the past 12 months?
