I’m so proud of what myself and the director Priya Ahluwalia have created. It was important to me that this video wasn’t dark, I wanted it to be uplifting. So much of what we see in the media when it comes to Black people is linked to trauma and suffering but I don’t think that's a fair representation of what being Black really means. It is also about community, unity and lifting each other up."I had the amazing honour of being able to share the screen with Bass Note Collective for this one and I honestly had goosebumps the whole time we shot together. This song is about coming together and collectively using our voices to make a change. The lyrics of this song seem to be made relevant time and time again, we still have a long way to go. Beavertown Brewery and Queens of the Stone Age have joined forces to create a music video for the band's latest single, Paper Machete.&nbsp;Set in the distinctive visual realm of Beavertown's flagship beer, Neck Oil, the brewery's creative team -&nbsp;led by Creative Director Nick Dwyer -&nbsp;&nbsp;collaborated with&nbsp;director and animator Alice Bloomfield to bring to life a hand-animated concept.&nbsp;Bloomfield's eye for surrealist character design and vibrant colour palettes is on full display here, presenting a hypnotic dreamscape that feels out of this world, whilst still being very much in line with Beavertown's aesthetic.&nbsp;Utterly captivating from start to end, it's a collaboration that dreams are made of, and a rip-roaring three minutes of fun.&nbsp;

Greg Barnes directs a subtly&nbsp;otherworldly visual for French multi-instrumentalist&nbsp;Vincent Fenton, known&nbsp;as French Kiwi Juice -&nbsp;or FKJ.Starring dancer Mès Lesne, the video is an emotional journey told through choreography, intense and affecting with plenty of room for individual interpretation.&nbsp;We see Lesne&nbsp;move to different beats, reflecting the personalities of those around him, whilst FKJ appears playing different instruments from the track, at different points in the video.&nbsp;The cinematography adds a romantic yet gritty layer to the visual, which encapsulates the nighttime scenery and the surreal vibes of the idea.&nbsp;It's a great twist on the interpretive dance concept, refreshing and engaging throughout.&nbsp;

Jade Ang Jackman directs Years And Years for a live performance&nbsp;on The Late Late Show With James Corden&nbsp;that was broadcast in May.Every bit as infectious and joyous as the <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2021/04/15/years-years-starstruck-fred-rowson/70390">official music video</a>, Jackman reworks the environment to a English country garden&nbsp;setting, where vocalist Olly Alexander performs with his backing group&nbsp;with characteristic flair.&nbsp;Captured&nbsp;in a succession of long takes, which takes Olly and co through different parts of the delightful location, the concept has a timeless, laidback feel to it,&nbsp;and gives a focus to the singer's marvellous pop-soul voice.

Jade Ang Jackman directs a cyberpunk-inspired promo for Yonaka's comeback single&nbsp;Seize The Power.&nbsp;The enigmatic video opens with vocalist Theresa entombed in a glass box, performing various glitchy movements whilst a&nbsp;hesitant&nbsp;doppelgänger carefully approaches her.&nbsp;Falling somewhere stylistically between The Matrix series and Hellraiser, the aesthetic is beautifully rich and well considered, delivered via Ash Halliburton's art direction and complemented by DoP&nbsp;Kai Blamey Nguyen's use of ramped-up frame rates and night-vision style cinematography.&nbsp;The ideas of rebirth, growth and taking back control of our own lives are visualised with abstract flair, with Jade's bold direction confidently guiding the narrative to an exciting climax.“Theresa wanted to play with ideas relating to rebirth and the power that can emanate from within," explains Jade Ang Jackman.&nbsp;"Given her own strong and unique energy, together we could experiment with different moods and stages to show that journey gaining internal strength."It was super fun to work with an artist who is not afraid to show their wild or ugly side too!”&nbsp;

Greg Barnes directs an ambitious one-take video for EELS, featuring&nbsp;Mad Men and Baby Driver&nbsp;star Jon Hamm.&nbsp;Playing a superfan of the group, Hamm is shown finding solace in the track&nbsp;as he relaxes on the sofa, totally oblivious to the chaos unfolding around him.&nbsp;It's a great little concept, shot in Los Angeles on 35mm whilst Greg and the Black Dog team directed and produced it remotely from London.&nbsp;Hamm's understated, relaxed performance is a perfect fit for the concept, and will have viewers shouting at the screen with&nbsp;the old pantomime adage... he's behind you!!

And the choice to bring in choreographer&nbsp;Holly Blakey is an inspired one, resulting in movements that encapsulate the emotional rollercoaster of the narrative.&nbsp;

Chris Hopewell directs a wonderful 2020 reimagining of Yusuf/Cat Stevens's seminal hit&nbsp;Father &amp; Son.&nbsp;As the song reaches its 50th anniversary, the new version features Yusuf/Cat as he is now singing the role of the father,&nbsp;brought together digitally with a recording of his younger self,&nbsp;originally recorded at his historic performance in the Troubadour Club, Los Angeles in 1970.If the recreation of this wonderful song is momentous, then Chris Hopewell has risen to the occasion with its video. Like everything else he does, it's stop motion model animation. But he achieves a moving and utterly believable drama from the characters he creates and the world around them.The video depicts animated versions of the Father and Son in a house, which bereft of a female presence, with an inability to connect to each other.&nbsp;Exploring love, loss and a sense of urgency as the clock ticks away, the regret is palpable, and perfectly visualised through the 3D concept.&nbsp;The attention to detail is brilliant, and the anachronistic sense of time and space makes the visual all the more universal.&nbsp;&nbsp;
