Jonas K Lord has directed a&nbsp;sensual and beautiful video for The Highest, from Make You Know Love.Exploring&nbsp;the long distance communication between two lovers trapped in a dystopian future scenario -&nbsp;where each person lives in a pixel of one giant screen - the video portrays their shared internal reality as well as their external experience. The connection between the lovers shifts the physical world around them until they are in neighbouring boxes.Through the use of intimate closeups of the characters and a series of different flowers and plants, the idea of connection is explored in an abstract way, and it contrasts against the darker themes that lay beneath the surface.Built with a&nbsp;palette of golds and pastel colours, Lord's art direction experience is very evident in this project, and each frame is packed with striking emotional imagery - created as a result of his close collaboration with the video's art director Aeri&nbsp;Yoo.&nbsp;

But his plan gets derailed; the tape gets lost in the post and falls into the wrong hands, ending up on the radio.Soon, the song is so powerful that everyone who listens to it&nbsp;falls in love with him. Ironically, it seems like everyone except his crush has heard his song. So will it be able to reach her in the end, so that&nbsp;he can&nbsp;get his feelings through?

It's more of the same great 90s pastiche we saw in the Detroit video, only now the characters are out in the real world. However, it's not long before the cracks start to show and it becomes painfully clear that this isn't a match made in heaven.

The new video for Russ Chimes features visuals from the short film Globe of Death - the story of&nbsp;daredevil motorcycle rider&nbsp;Lucius Zafalon -&nbsp;from directors and production company Autobahn.Zafalon risks his body in the pursuit of the perfect Globe of Death act - where three motorbikes travel within a metal sphere, essentially testing the laws of physics to its limits. As the film shows, it&#39;s a graceful as well as gravity-defying performance, in its beautiful precision.The Globe of Death is a stunt that dates from the beginning of the 20th century. One of the oldest patents for the mesh sphere ball was filed in 1904. Different to the Wall of Death that became popular in the UK, where the riders ride only on the horizontal, with the Globe of Death multiple riders can race in any direction at the same time.Directed by Autobahn (James Worsley&nbsp;and Pedro De La Fuente), they met Zafalon through their passion for motorcycles, and the short film shows that The Globe of Death has been his life&#39;s work for the past 30 years.&nbsp;&quot;We were mesmerised by how incredibly visual the act is and thought that combined with his life story it was a perfect subject for a film.&quot;

Hopefully part two will see the winning couple's holiday recap. Who knows if they'll stay together?&nbsp;

Oh my good lord.&nbsp;James Lawes&#39; presents a scene of domestic normality, in his video for Cat&#39;s Eyes&#39; Drag. But as his protagonists are the band&#39;s Faris Badwan and Rachel Zeffiri, they are manifestly ill-suited to this scenario. And that expresses itself in extreme, wince-inducing&nbsp;violence.&nbsp;This is a deadpan comedy&nbsp;with a very dark edge indeed - and it doesn&#39;t let up.&nbsp;Not for the squeamish, but awfully entertaining.&nbsp;And Badwan and Zeffira are bloody great.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Atriums&#39; song Down By The Beeches&nbsp;explores the emotional&nbsp;ruin of a man&nbsp;in the midst of heartbreak, explored visually in its music video&nbsp;by James Lawes. It follows the man and&nbsp;his ex-lover, a&nbsp;woman dressed in black. She&#39;s&nbsp;transformed into an agent of death - with no weapon necessary.&nbsp;The strength of the piece is in part due to the&nbsp;gorgeous cinematography&nbsp;by DoP Malte Rosenfeld, with an image that is partly&nbsp;blurred and softened by what looks like salty&nbsp;sea condensation. The choice is remarkably effective, communicating the sorrowful tone of the music in simple, visual terms.

In quite a change of direction for a video for folk outfit The Staves, Jack Whiteley has directed this very sharp comedy for Black &amp; White, in which an '80s Australian evening news show goes into meltdown off-camera when the lady newsreader (played by Nell Mooney) discovers, as the programme starts, that her suave co-host is cheating on her with the weathergirl.Building the tension&nbsp;between what the viewers are seeing on TV, and what's really going on in the studio - with the Stave girls appearing as onlooking crew - it's a delicious car-crash moment, beautifully&nbsp;executed&nbsp;by the crew in front of the camera, and the one behind it.
