Douglas Reddan directs a mesmerising, all-choreo&nbsp;based promo for girl group Say Now - featuring in a sexually-charged routine among an ever-expanding field of youthful&nbsp;dancers.The video for Can't Keep A Beat - Say Now's latest missive from the trenches of modern dating, sex and relationships - takes place within a dark studio environment, entirely focussed on Say Now's Amelia, Maddie and Yssy, and their squad of dancers, recruited from the <a href="https://addictdanceacademy.co.uk/" target="_blank">Addict Dance Academy</a> in Leicester.The dance routines are slick and hot - courtesy of explosive choreography by&nbsp;Laura May Buckley. The minimal background, lighting and camerawork, and a breathless edit,&nbsp;also intensifies the focus on the tightly-orchestrated performance to great effect.&nbsp;[imgtoken data:1]&nbsp;&nbsp;Above everything, the commitment from&nbsp;Say Now to the project makes this a personal triumph. They were keen to work with the dance troupe at Addict, and have clearly poured body and soul into making this happen. Likewise Irish dancer, choroegrapher and director Douglas Reddon, who knows his stuff too.&nbsp;&nbsp;“Can’t Keep A Beat is all about owning your sexuality and your needs, and not being afraid to admit them - we all deserve to be spoiled, have fun and high standards,” comment Say Now. “Some of our friends go to Addict and we really wanted to work with upcoming dancers in our age group. We’d seen Addict’s amazing dance pieces before and knew we could trust in them to bring our vision to life."

Lauren Luxenberg's latest video for Youngs Teflon takes him to a classic London caff&nbsp;with his girlfriend, their romantic moment disturbed&nbsp;by the rapper's unease at weird stuff going on around him. Or is it all in his head? &nbsp;Following <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2025/04/14/youngs-teflon-da-gutter-lauren-luxenberg/90704" target="_blank">Da Gutter</a>, where he may be under surveillance, in the video for Brownin -&nbsp;part two of a trilogy of videos by Luxenberg - Youngs Teflon definitely has a sense of being watched, as neighbouring customers in the café begin to stare him down and take over his lipsyncing duties.With his girlfriend apparently oblivious to what he's seeing - her dialogue appearing in subtitles -&nbsp;YT&nbsp;starts to question his grip on reality.It's a visual that strikes a nice balance between music video and comedy drama through the performances, camerawork and editing. Lola Webster harnesses the buzzing energy of DJ/producer Omar+ and Piri with a dynamic, retro-influenced visual for&nbsp;infectious dance track Body Language.A studio performance that focusses squarely on the artists charisma and chemistry, Webster also employs a box of visual tricks, drawing on a range of nostalgic influences from a lo-res video look, to Piri's sillouetted dance moves, driven by an adrenalin-fuelled edit. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;There are striking visual moments too, such as Piri appearing to dance on Omar’s head or rest in the palm of his hand -literal interpretations of the lyrics that flips expectations. The track is just 2.20 in length, and not a second is wasted to make it as impactful as possible.&nbsp;&nbsp;[imgtoken data:1]Webster reveals that the concept of silhouettes was a foundational element of the project,&nbsp;drawing inspiration from the iconic 2000s iPod silhouette ads and&nbsp;by the fleeting connections we make on the dance floor.&nbsp;Lola and Omar+ worked to elevate the visuals into a darker, more mysterious realm that matched the sultry tone of the song.Despite a tight budget, producer Zoe Gunn and editor Rauri Cantelo helped elevate the project with creative solutions. Once the video was shot, the post process was completed by running the clean footage through mini-DV tapes to boost the early Noughties look.“Body Language&nbsp;is such an ear-worm of a track, and the video always needed to be a complete visual representation of Omar and Piri’s combined energy,” says Webster.&nbsp;[imgtoken data:2]“For me, the creative hook was the idea that when you’re dancing or making eyes across a dance floor, you can communicate with your own body language.&nbsp;Pushing the idea of&nbsp;body language&nbsp;as a concept, I thought about playing around with scale and how we could combine Piri and Omar+ in the frame in a way that felt dynamic and tongue-in-cheek.&nbsp;“Working with Omar+ and Piri on set was amazing - their chemistry as collaborators and friends really came across in the rushes, hyping each other up to bring out their performance personas.&nbsp;Omar+ as an artist has such an underground, if-you-know-you-know sonic. His visuals need an air of mystery, and it was really important that as his first music video, it communicated his vibe within the first three seconds."

Deadhorses create a riveting sensory overload, inspired by first wave digital tech, for up-and-coming London indie-pop artist Aziya.The visually engaging video for Bambi reflects the track's steely beats and rush of metallic synths with a lo-fi Hi8 graphics and gnarly greenscreen aesthetic with crucifix iconography from the late 80s&nbsp;'golden age' of MTV.&nbsp;And in the fashion of the director duo's&nbsp;UKMVA-nominated video for <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2024/07/17/joalin-without-you-deadhorses/87354" target="_blank">Joalin</a> it is delivered in a ferocious edit for maximum impact, a blitz of lo-fi pop glam imagery stuffed into&nbsp;a mere two and bit minutes.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;Impressive stuff from the pair who, intentionally or not, appear to be reviving a bygone age of 'video art'. LOOSE follows up the superb live visual for Fred Again..'s collab with Lil Yachty with an equally impressive document of the producer's encounter with Anderson .Paak for Places To Be.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;This intimate and intense jam session was shot in one take in sun-soaked Eagle Rock, Los Angeles, and there is a delightful sense of capturing magic in a bottle, as both artists do their stuff.&nbsp;With the pair enthusiastically jumping between instruments - including two drumkits - it's a brilliant job of camerawork throughout.
