Julien Lassort&#39;s video for Ásgeir is a complex, brooding science fiction piece on the interconnectivity of humans, in a future where individuals leap between each other&#39;s personal VR experiences.&nbsp;The four intertwined stories leave out all but the slightest hints of exposition in favour of set pieces coated in Black Mirror-esque digital unease. Lassort manages to establish a convincing cinematic world of the&nbsp;near-future through very ambitious means -&nbsp;it&#39;s engrossing, and confusing, and&nbsp;beautifully executed.&nbsp;

Emile Sornin is back with a video for The Shoes&nbsp;that&#39;ll possibly make you think twice about that cheeky Nando&#39;s you&#39;ve been promising yourself.Or maybe not. 1960s Horror starts with the grisly truth about the poultry business, the huge industrial scale of chcken production and consumption - which of course includes the terrible, shaming treatment of the poor creatures.&nbsp;Then it gets even more extreme, a prediction of the next stage of mankind&#39;s&nbsp;greed and stupidity.And then comes the revenge - which is sweet, but also tastes of chicken...&nbsp;&nbsp;It&#39;s Chickenzilla!

The Shoes Ft. Dominic Lord - 1960's Horror

The zany, rather scruffy goofiness of Naive New Beaters has been faithfully recorded in a bunch of great videos down the years - and here&#39;s another one that&#39;s up with their best. Romain Chassaing has delivered a brilliant, electric-paced promo for Run Away which follows the band&#39;s unlikely progress from normal guys to inept yet wildly&nbsp;successful criminals.NNB&nbsp;frontman David Boring plays a frustrated working stiff and&nbsp;family man who decides to dabble in small-time robbery with his pals. Which sets off a frantic, and completely off-the-wall&nbsp;trail of events, involving hold-ups, bundles of cash, animal masks,&nbsp;sex, betrayal and a knife-twisting denouement. &nbsp;Chassaing and the band went over to Argentina to shoot the video and make the production budget go further, and it looks great. But as Romain explains here,&nbsp;they found that running around with guns in Buenos Aires, even fake ones on a video shoot, can be a dangerous business.[imgtoken data:1]

The intimate relationship of two girls takes on a surprising, surreal, and certainly unhinged dimension in the video for&nbsp;Brighton-based DJ Fono&#39;s track&nbsp;Real Joy, directed by French filmmaker Simon Cahn.In short the deep affection of two young girls frolicking in the countryside takes a violent turn - initially in jest, it seems, but then getting more and more fearsome, and blood-soaked. Not that they seem to mind.&nbsp;Cahn&#39;s video&nbsp;shows that the margin between love and violence can be very fine indeed.

Dizzee Rascal and&nbsp;Émile Sornin&#39;s amazing, stomach-churning horror movie for A Couple Of Stacks appeared at Halloween and promptly disappeared again - a bit&nbsp;like it banned itself.So now, for Pagans, comes the second part of their amazing exploitation double-bill - the ninja movie. Dizzee is just as badass in this one, but in a different way:&nbsp;he&#39;s the ninja master, training a small army of warriors, and using his own telepathic powers to defeat the bad guy - doing&nbsp;some serious damage to a Buddhist temple in the process.It&#39;s another brilliant&nbsp;production job by Division in Paris too, another marvellous collaboration between Dizzee and Émile. And we trust this baby will be sticking around...&nbsp;

Thomas Rhazi, recently signed to Division in Paris, has directed&nbsp;a slick and soothing&nbsp;video for Hawk House&#39;s &#39;Chill Pill (Experiment 2)&#39;, where the camera&#39;s smooth front to back motion is exploited as the real becomes surreal.The level of detail allows this simple premise to work, combining performance by this new old school&nbsp;hip-hop combo and fine art direction and (of course, as its a French-made video) well-executed VFX.&nbsp;

This is a brutal, frighteningly convincing story of a band of killer children in a dystopian south-east Asia state, directed by Edouard Salier for Scratch Massive's Waiting For A Sign. It's beautifully done - this is superlative filmmaking – and, in its way, absolutely bloody terrifying...

And Edouard – director of acclaimed videos for Justice, Massive Attack and Air previously – is now represented by Somesuch & Co for music videos and commercials in the UK. "We're thrilled to have Edouard join the Somesuch roster," says Natasha Tan, Somesuch's head of music. "We've always been impressed by multi-faceted approach to film making, we're incredibly excited about creating new work with him."

Following collaborations with Adidas, Chanel and Hennessy and others, street artist FAFI translates her fantasies to live action for Tokyo based performer &amp; DJ Mademoiselle Yulia in this video for Gimme Gimme.
Shot over a day in Paris and featuring over 65 girls, the video is also a collaboration with fashion collective Andrea Crews.

An absolute treat from Jonas &amp; Francois for Audiobullys' Only Man - especially for trainer obsessives. 
Shot from underneath a sheet of plate glass onto which the band perform and all manner of shenanigans take place. And then there's the trainer-porn: custom-made trainer soles stomp the glass (and the Bullys), spelling out the song's lyrics.
There are clear echoes of J&amp;F's breakthrough Justice video here, but this time its done in live action - with added violence, graffiti, and milk. It also happens to be the second video for the Bully's Only Man, after Paul Dugdale's <a href="http://www.promonews.tv/2010/02/17/audio-bullys'-only-man-by-paul-dugdale/" target="_blank">original</a>.
