Directing trio Three Shades direct&nbsp;a&nbsp;colourful, fun and emotional promo for D.O.D’s summer dance anthem So Much In Love.As self-confessed lovers of music festivals, the trio&nbsp;found themselves revelling in the creation of an intimate forest getaway, where a couple reminisce about the honeymoon period of their relationship at a summer festival&nbsp;surrounded by friends.&nbsp;Bookended by rainy shots of the&nbsp;couple in the car, their relationship soured and miles away from the happy vibes of the fest,&nbsp;the video perfectly encapsulates the highs and lows of a relationship, with a fresh, energetic backdrop.&nbsp;“As well as getting great chemistry between the main couple, we also lucked out with the supporting and additional cast that all came down, everyone had such great energy," say Three Shades. "We felt the excitement of summer just around the corner, which definitely helped fuel the love and joy on set we needed.”Messy campsites, shared rollies and sweaty forest raves - a&nbsp;place Three Shades know well... D.O.D 'So Much In Love (Director's Cut)' by Three Shades

Vasilisa Forbes continues her collaborative streak with Pale Waves, directing the theatrical promo for Clean.The video is set in a theatre, and explores the contrast between the intimate backstage world, (the inner-self) and ‘putting on a show’.Inspired by cabaret and Old Hollywood glamour, we see vocalist Heather backstage, draped in pearls and luxury styling, before appearing on stage with the band, playing to an empty room.&nbsp;Amplifying the dichotomy of reality and fiction, the video is peppered with surrealist moments - such as an homage to the iconic red rose sequence in American Beauty - and traverses the line between fantasy and the real world.&nbsp;

The Trash Factory lives up to his director moniker in this excellent video for Dylan Fraser.&nbsp;In the video for&nbsp;Apartment Complex On The Eastside, we see the artist in a sea of trash, getting pushed around by passing pedestrians until he breaks out into a much roomier exterior space.From the custom set design through to the inspired colour palettes, it's a simple concept that is imbued with passion and creativity, which elevates it to a whole new level.&nbsp;[imgtoken data:1]<blockquote>I wanted Dylan to be physically overwhelmed...</blockquote>"[The video is about]&nbsp;feeling like the world is fucked, that you're just a passing person in an indifferent urban sprawl, but finding some freedom in that pessimism," says James Arden - aka The Trash Factory.&nbsp;"Built around the thought-provoking opening lyric - 'Someday I will lay beneath some new apartment complex on the Eastside'&nbsp;- I wanted Dylan to be physically overwhelmed by rushing pedestrians who don't give a shit about him. So, continuing my fondness for burying musicians in their own music videos, we decided to throw trash at Dylan until he was engulfed completely.&nbsp;"Visually, this video was heavily inspired by 90s Radiohead promos, the absurd films of Roy Andersson, and one specific shot in Spiderman 2 where Peter Parker is bashed around picking up his books on campus, that I became obsessed with and wanted to include in a video. I'm glad it found its home."&nbsp;And so are we.&nbsp;

Creative trio Three Shades direct an infectiously fun promo for Bastille.&nbsp;The video for Shut Off The Lights is a&nbsp;light-hearted look at how people might react if&nbsp;their connection to the virtual world was suddenly broken, in the middle of their working day.In an age of short attention spans and technological takeover, the video follows a&nbsp;rag-tag bunch of office workers, and details their escapades as they are left to&nbsp;their own devices (pun intended).Building upon the dystopian world of ‘Future Inc’ that Bastille had already created for their upcoming album, Three Shades set out to capture the joy, euphoria and childlike innocence of human interactions in their most basic forms. It's safe to say they have achieved that and much more in entertaining video.

It's 2066, and Josh Barry is reminiscing about his 2021 self in this video for the soul singer's Rush, from his debut EP,&nbsp;by directing team Three Shades.In fact, Josh takes on various incarnations in this playful piece, from the older fellow taking a nostalgic dive into his record collection, to the younger man dancing, drinking and chilling. And there are also various musician-versions of Barry, including his old school soul vocalist alter-ego.[imgtoken data:1]Ultimately this all serves the gentle groove of the song and the sense of nostalgia and fantasy is given a vintage feel thanks to Luke Dryden's moody&nbsp;cinematography."Rush is a trip down memory lane for an ageing Josh, reliving youthful memories triggered by the track," explain London-based Three Shades about this, their second video for Josh Barry.&nbsp;"As he gets lost in nostalgia, the lines between reality, memory and fantasy become blurred and he is overwhelmed by the experience, collapsing in a blissful ecstasy.[imgtoken data:2]"It is a playful but introspective reflection on the absurdity of time - as it passes it feels infinite but once gone it's only retrievable in the form of hazy, rose-tinted memories."
