Greg Barth's latest collaboration with Leicester indie-R&amp;Bers Easy Life takes its cue from their excellent previous work - and one video in particular - and the cover of their just-released debut album&nbsp;Life's A Beach.As always frontman Murray Matravers takes centre stage, in a fantastical scenario where his bandmates paly supporting roles - both to Murray and his giant goldfish friend.&nbsp;As Greg explains below, its a surreal sequel of sorts to the animated <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Db_Gf9z8jk" target="_blank">Message To Myself</a> video. It's also the latest in an extensive body of Easy Life work over the past couple of years by the Swiss-born and London-based director, from the video for <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-dQnXExTp2w" target="_blank">Nightmares</a> (featuring Jamie Demetriou of Stath Lets Flats) to the recent Gondryesque <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=87U_l3AvyX0" target="_blank">Skeletons</a>. Yousef follows up his brilliant video&nbsp;for <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2020/03/30/piero-pirupa-braindead-heroin-kills-yousef/64051" target="_blank">Piero Pirupa's Braindead</a> with another gem, this time for SG Lewis, and this time made in quarantine conditions.&nbsp;Self-shot by the artist in isolation, Yousef has thoroughly manipulated that performance footage of Chemicals through inventive use of After Effects. SG is endlessly replicated within the confines of a TV-shaped screen, in increasingly off the wall ways, as if&nbsp;they might well be chemically-induced.Beyond that, there are the contributions&nbsp;by&nbsp;other animators and VFX artists who, in the fashion of Peter Gabriel's classic Sledgehammer video,&nbsp;provide seconds-long bursts of fresh animation styles, integrated into the main body of work. And it's a straight performance video with a big difference.What looks like a conventional widescreen performance set-up in a white room is anything but. The first clue is the appearance of Tom Chaplin and the rest of the band attached to the walls by bungee ropes. And then it becomes celar - Keane are performing on what appears to be the best bouncy castle ever!As Godley describes below, it's the latest in a series of videos where he has put Keane, or Chaplin on his own, through a test of sheer physical endurance.

Kevin Godley returns to music video directing, and pairs up with Tom Chaplin for the first time since their collaboration for Keane&#39;s&nbsp;<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fVe_KVzBFOo" target="_blank">Is It Any Wonder?,&nbsp;</a>for this lovely visual for the track Still Waiting.&nbsp;But as you find out in Godley&#39;s notes below, sometimes even a seemingly straightforward visual device can be tricky to pull off with&nbsp;elegance. But the video has come together beautifully, capturing a strong performance by the singer from four different&nbsp;angles, shot simultaneously on different cameras. In classic Godley fashion, it&#39;s all done in-camera.Refracted, mirrored and duplicated, Tom&#39;s image takes on a&nbsp;life of its own through a&nbsp;variety of movement that avoid&nbsp;becoming too repetitive.&nbsp;[imgtoken data:1]
