Sam Taylor reunites with Fontaines DC frontman Grian Chatten, for this moving promo for All Of The People.&nbsp;Taken from Chatten's debut solo album, the video examines what it means to be human, and how we break out of the cycle of unconscious routine to find freedom.&nbsp;“Taking inspiration from Lars Von Trier, George Orwell, Billy Wilder, our film analyses loneliness, self doubt then acceptance, appreciation and human connection," Taylor mentions.&nbsp;With a grungy dystopian aesthetic, the video emphasises the often restrained nature of the human experience. However, the use of light pastel colours and the romantic textures&nbsp;of shooting on film give the film a hopeful streak, which is embodied by the characters as the video progresses.&nbsp;This is the third collaboration between Taylor and Chatten, with the previous two videos being for Fontaines D.C. - Roman Holiday and<a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2022/02/21/fontaines-dc-i-love-you-samuel-taylor/75022"> I Love You.&nbsp;</a>&nbsp;

Simon Lane directs an impressive one-take all-live promo for Cian Ducrot's version of Leonard Cohen's classic Hallelujah.&nbsp;Featuring the&nbsp;Royal Northern College Of Music Student Choir, the video sees the artist playing at a piano in an empty, disused swimming pool, as the camera circles around the space.&nbsp;The gentle camera movement contrasts against the stark location, creating a complex, textural aesthetic.&nbsp;The use of a one-take concept also feels incredibly inspired, capturing the grand atmosphere of the location and the naturalistic, intimate performances that unfold through the track.

Avesta Keshtmand directs a transcendent promo for&nbsp;Emma-Jean Thackray.Inspired by the themes and aesthetics of sci-fi, psychedelia&nbsp;and B-movies, Thackray and Keshtmand tell the story of an outsider at a dinner party, full of mass-produced foods and judgemental side-glances. Lost in her own world, Emma-Jean is then transported to somewhere more natural, flowery and free.Oozing a sense of carefree nostalgia, the video is mesmerising to look at, and celebrates the maximalist art and aesthetics of the time period it pays homage to.&nbsp;Avesta Keshtmand is a British-Afghan filmmaker living and working in London.&nbsp;Last year, Keshtmand was one of five unsigned British directors to win a place on Three Minutes,&nbsp;Crack Magazine’s incubator scheme funding five music videos by rising talents. Simon Lane directs an exceptional live performance video for singer-songwriter Douglas Dare,&nbsp;shot within the beautiful St John of Jerusalem Church in Hackney, London.Dare emerges from the church pews in an ivory-white ballgown to glide towards the musicians of the&nbsp;London Contemporary Orchestra, whilst singing the nursery rhyme-influenced Heavenly Bodies, in a consummately choreographed single take.&nbsp;This was filmed on Super 16mmm, and Lane and his DoP Jake Gabbay have achieved a stunning visual quality for the piece. It sets the bar high for achievement in cinematography in the year ahead.

Olivia Rose directs a celestial, otherworldly promo for Lancey Foux.&nbsp;Known for reinterpreting masculinity through a female gaze in both her&nbsp;photography and video projects, Rose's concept exists in a parallel space and time, evidenced by surreal imagery - a fish covered in luminescent butterflies, as an example - and a soft, introspective performance, leaning into a certain vulnerability that shapes the entire narrative.&nbsp;It's a wonderful, unexpected vision, and one of the most unique promos of the year, arriving just a couple of weeks before 2020 finally ends.&nbsp;
