Sugarcane Media have hit the ground running with the release of their first production for Indian rapper Badshah&#39;s&nbsp;Mercy. &nbsp; Directed by Ben Peters, this music video for Sony India-signed Badshah has hit 18 million views since its release on the 1st&nbsp;of April and was the third most watched music video across the world within it first 24 hours. This energising video takes you from a scenic airfield, with Badshah and co-star and Bollywood sensation Lauren Gottlieb elevated from the wing of a Boeing 747, to the charismatic and impressive skyline of London, making it the first music video to be filmed on top of the O2 Arena.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Sing J Lee delivers a stylish,&nbsp;science fiction-influenced&nbsp;adaptation of Shakespeare, to mark the 400th anniversary of the Bard&#39;s death,&nbsp;in this collaboration with singer-songwriter, performance artist and model&nbsp;Viktoria Modesta.With washes of pink and blue neon, and a serious amount of jaw-dropping wardrobe&nbsp;this turns from adaptation of A Midsummer Night&#39;s Dream exploring the lust for self-edit and presentation (with Viktoria as Titania), into a full-up pop video&nbsp;and choreographed to perfection.&nbsp;The VFX here are a brilliant development on the aesthetic that Sing first started to play with in his video for Muse earlier this year - a refined and cool sci-fi look is rare alchemy but executed explosively here with an artist who previously&nbsp;starred in the <a href="http://www.promonews.tv/videos/2014/12/16/viktoria-modesta-%E2%80%98prototype%E2%80%99-saam-farahmand" target="_blank">groundbreaking video project Prototype,&nbsp;directed by Saam Farahmand</a>, as the first amputee pop star.

Channel 4&#39;s work in challenging perceptions of&nbsp;disability, most notably with their coverage of the 2012&nbsp;Paralympics, reaches a new landmark with Born Risky - a new brand campaign dedicated on changing attitudes towards the disabled &ndash; and this trailblazing and spectacular video directed by Saam Farahmand.&nbsp;Step forward Viktoria Modesta, who has been billed as the world&#39;s first bionic pop artist in the brouhaha surrounding&nbsp;Saam&#39;s video for Prototype - previewed in a 40 second commercial in the final ad break of&nbsp;The&nbsp;X Factor Final&nbsp;last Sunday. And although it&#39;s likely&nbsp;the video cost much less to make than the cost of buying that super-premium ad slot&nbsp;(an estimated &pound;200K) Saam has propelled this unknown artist into a high end pop video worthy of Madonna or Lady Gaga.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;In&nbsp;a Thirties-style dictatorship, Viktoria becomes the fulcrum of dissent, because of her talent and non-conformism - of which her disability symbolises. Her lower left leg is missing, so she wears a series of intriguing prosthetic limbs (designed by&nbsp;Sophie de Oliveria Barata) and radiates those elements of rebellion and sexuality&nbsp;that marks her out as a potential icon. And that&#39;s before a mesmerizing puppet-dance routine with her cone-shaped limb wielded like a super-stiletto.Arguably there is a paradox here &ndash; the artist&#39;s physical difference is celebrated at least as much as her talent - but there&#39;s&nbsp;no question Saam has now achieved what he has long threatened: made a really outstanding pure pop video.&nbsp;&nbsp;
