When he ventures into the outside world he finds himself capable of all kinds of otherworldly powers, sometimes struggling to control them.A number of magical moments arrive in an understated fashion - which seems a perfectly pitched visual metaphor for Sampha's talent. And it makes it more impressive with every viewing.

Otis Dominique and RAYE co-direct the dazzling&nbsp;promo for new track Escapism.&nbsp;Capturing the brutality of post break-up blues and the hedonistic need to escape&nbsp;the reality of being dumped, the video follows the artist as she turns to partying, drinks, drugs and any excuse to forget the heartbreak that's ripping through her.&nbsp;Using a mix of camera techniques and a blurred amalgam of effects, bright lights and a non-linear timeline, it's a bold, unabashed vision that complements the punchy track.&nbsp;[imgtoken data:1]"We worked really hard to create an honest depiction of where I was at that time in my life,” explains RAYE. “It was fun and wild. We shot it over a couple of days and wore point-of-view cameras during a wild night out at many different clubs. I pushed myself outside of my comfort zone and I ran 150 metres in 5 inch heels. We really took it there! I am really proud of it and hope everyone enjoys the visuals."Otis Dominique also says that he is very happy with the results of his collaboration with RAYE.&nbsp;"I'm so gassed to see this film come out after all the hard work put in from the whole team involved!" he says. "RAYE&nbsp;and (creative director) Mikey's approach to this project really allowed us all to push the limits creatively and make something that hasn't quite been done like this before."The song has so many ups and downs,&nbsp;changes of mood and vibe, so the challenge lay in how to connect these feelings and emotions together through filmmaking and storytelling without being too on the nose."My favourite element of the film is the contrast between our real night out footage and the considered setups we shot inside the exact same locations, truly showing the differences between reality and state of mind. That stuff goes hard and is so trippy!"

KC Locke's third video this year for AJ Tracey follows the pattern of the first two for Anxious and Little More Love with some exceptional visual invention illustrating the London rapper's lyrical flow. This one is perhaps the most ingenious of the lot, bringing AJ together with T Pain at a summertime pool party - with the American rapper never leaving Atlanta.&nbsp;KC explains below how the miracle of motion control made it happen. And very aspirational it is too. The car, the restaurant, the girl - and the bird's eye view over the city - it's all presented with a superior level of slickness.And this is also a love letter to London, in a way that will definitely transcend the times in which it was made. As the director explains below, he has used every trick in the book - well, nearly - to make this a convincing epic, to show AJ on top of his world.&nbsp;

Released to tie-in with the release of his acclaimed debut feature Get Duked! on Amazon last week, Ninian Doff provides the movie's young quartet of unlikely heroes&nbsp;with a new mission of extreme&nbsp;mischief: an ill-advised break-in at a&nbsp;mansion containing the prized possessions of Run The Jewels and 2 Chainz.&nbsp;The feckless foursome's blundering efforts at a daring heist is overseen at all times by a series of animated portraits, and sculptures, of RTJ's Killer Mike and El-p, and guest star 2 Chainz. They discover the famous RTJ gloves, and some pink jewels giving off some psychotropic properties - and then they go too far.As in Get Duked!, the riotous fun that Doff creates around his characters transitions effortlessly from realistic live action comedy to something way more extreme and cartoonish - shrinking the characters down in a dimension,&nbsp;giving them metallic limbs and sending their faces into supersonic time warps, as they confront giant version of RTJ and 2 Chainz.[imgtoken data:1]It is high concept aesthetic - arguably a big step further from the movie - and it involved a really big production effort including shoots of the artists in New York and Atlanta - with Colin Read providing second unit directing duties - while Doff, aided and abetted by regular DoP Patrick Meller, shot the main action with his Get Duked! cast in the UK.&nbsp;&nbsp;It is a brilliant effort - but to properly enjoy, and get to know and love the characters, go check out the feature first.
