Georgian singer Sophie Villy contemplates parallel lives in Another Existence, directed by&nbsp;Jean-Marie Marbach.Following Marbach's Best in Show Award at&nbsp;SIGGRAPH 2018 for&nbsp;<a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2017/08/15/tennyson-loiseau-qui-danse-jean-marie-marbach/49228" target="_blank">Tennyson’s L’oiseau Qui Danse</a>, this project is focused largely around particle effects and an entire&nbsp;city created through visual effects. The project feels very much like a '90s throwback&nbsp;and the track has a similar vibe - it wouldn't feel&nbsp;out of place alongside a Suzanne Vega or Fiona Apple track.The setup and visual effects are simple but effective, and an energetic performance from Villy bolsters the concept, creating a fresh and engaging visual.&nbsp;

Jean-Marie Marbach&#39;s brilliant and beautiful&nbsp;video for Canadian jazz-electro band Tennyson is a wonder of CGI and Particle FX.L&#39;oiseau qui danse sees an origami bird flutter into to life above a field of lights, and dance within a light clouds, leaving colourful vapour trails in its wake. The&nbsp;imagery, mainly figurative,&nbsp;also veers to the abstract, and&nbsp;the L&#39;Oiseau Qui Danse has been described as being in the spirit of the <a href="http://www.centerforvisualmusic.org" target="_blank">Visual Music films</a> of the mid 20th century created by the likes of Oskar Fischinger, Jordan Belson and Mary Ellen Bute.

Jean-Marie Marbach&#39;s out-there video for&nbsp;Argentinian group&nbsp;Modular&#39;s Fiebre En La Disco&nbsp;is a homage to Cosmic Disco, with&nbsp;retro-futuristic twist.&nbsp;The scenario is&nbsp;an&nbsp;otherworldy game show - in a disco, natch &ndash;&nbsp;where a dance-off&nbsp;between glamorous women in sequined bodysuits is supervised by a cyborg with the TV screen head of bandmember Pablo Dahy&nbsp;and&nbsp;bandmate Mariana Badaracco - who then eliminate the contestants, one by one,&nbsp;in a &#39;poof&#39; of stardust.&nbsp;Then, when three&nbsp;contestants are left standing,&nbsp;round two&nbsp;begins.... with the ladies shooting lazers at each other using rings they punched&nbsp;out of disco balls. Yup... it&#39;s a strange one, and it just keeps getting weirder...&nbsp;
