Ivana Bobic&#39;s latest video for Sigrid is an ode to friendship in a Spielberg world.As Bobic has told <a href="https://i-d.vice.com/en_uk/article/nekbnw/sigrids-new-video-is-like-the-ultimate-coming-of-age-movie" target="_blank">i-D</a>: &quot;Sigrid and I talked a lot about the power of friendship. We love all the high school movies, and Spielberg films like&nbsp;E.T&nbsp;or&nbsp;Close Encounters&nbsp;that are in a magical world but also really they&rsquo;re a metaphor for friendship. We wanted to explore this archetypal movie backdrop and put Sigrid in it with a group of friends.&quot;

Simon Willows makes a very welcome return to music videos with his promo for Tough Love&#39;s latest pop-house anthem, and gives an essential but mundane part of daily life a very enjoyable graphic makeover.&nbsp;People of all sorts snuggle down for a good night&#39;s sleep - captured both above the bed, and also below. That part was achieved by using specially reinforced Perspex, to achieve the sort of results you might get from sticking your whole body on a very big photocopier. In your jammies.&ldquo;The love of our bed is something that connects us all - and we all long to feel the touch of it on our face at night,&rdquo; says Simon of the video for &lsquo;Touch - featuring Arlissa on vocals. &ldquo;So without being aware of it we must all look pretty weird in our sleep when we&#39;re snuggled down for the night.&quot;The goal was to make a music video that was full of funny faces and ideas. Faces do weird things when you distort them against glass, so the more faces we could feature the better - young through to the old.&rdquo;

Forget the fact that Robyn&#39;s hit album Body Talk Pt. 2&nbsp;was released three years ago. Some videos are just worth waiting for. Like one where Robyn and Snoop Dogg swap genders, strike up a motley friendship in London, practice dance moves in a teenage bedroom, tend a questionable botanical greenhouse, and ride or die together in a bright red,&nbsp;old-school Volvo.This has to be one of the better examples of late-night, inebriated &#39;hey wouldn&#39;t it be awesome if we shot a video about&hellip;&#39; conversations actually turning into a bizarrely great video. Which is exactly how the idea came about, between Robyn, director and long-time collaborator Decida and one of their friends, who would go on to play Snoop.Decida&#39;s snappy pop style really comes through in every scene, shaking up signature choreography with vivid art direction to create a parallel universe where it totally makes sense that Robyn would be a rambunctious blonde teenage boy hanging out with a 20-something Swedish female Snoop Dogg.Robyn explains how the video came about:&nbsp;&quot;Decida came along for a part of the European tour I was doing, we had dinner, drinks and laughs with Decida&#39;s friend Pernilla and we were talking about how much Pernilla looks like Snoop. It was there and then that Decida and I decided to pursue our idea of making a video for U Should Know Better&nbsp;where Snoop and I switch gender. All we needed to do was to find a &#39;little Robyn&#39;. A&nbsp;year later in London, we did.&quot;

Robyn's Call Your Girlfriend is slightly heartbreaking - she's telling her new bloke to inform some poor girl that she's now his ex, and she's taking no pleasure from it. 
Max Vitali's video - a one-shot of Robyn's hugely energetic performance, conceived as a reflection of her live shows and shot in LA in a huge empty sound studio - is almost perfect for the song. Robyn throws herself around the place with reckless abandon - not entirely joyfully. There's a bit of self-punishment in there too.

After the excellent videos for <a href="http://www.promonews.tv/2010/07/16/dels%E2%80%99-shapeshift-feat-joe-by-us-design-studio/" target="_blank">Shapeshift</a> and <a href="http://www.promonews.tv/2010/10/25/dels%E2%80%99-trumpalump-by-us-design-studio/" target="_blank">Trumpalump</a>, the third clip for DELS by Christopher Barrett and Luke Taylor - aka Us - is another performance piece that toys with the image of the Ninja Tune/Big Dada's new hip-hop signing.
Chris and Luke keep things a bit simpler for GOB than, say, for Shapeshift - which took 18 months to make. They took their inspiration from their own artwork for the DELS album - also called GOB - out on May 2nd. Look out for the oversized metal gob-stopper...
