Director Jack Brown has teamed up with Blinkink to create an animated music video for the remixed version of The Weeknd's Save You Tears’ remix, featuring Ariane Grande - a journey through the manufacturing line of The Weeknd’s own underground lair as he creates his perfect companion. Which is Ariana, of course.The video marks a big step forward for Brown, who only kicked off his music video career last year with work for Poppy Ajudha and the delightful video for <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2020/09/09/tom-misch-yussef-dayes-tidal-wave-jack-brown/66466" target="_blank">Tom Misch &amp; Yussef Dayes' Tidal Wave</a>. That was a boy-meets-girl story in an exotic location - and in its way, so is this one.It begins in a sparse desert landscape before venturing deep underground to Weeknd's world cave-like factory - part-NASA, part-Willy Wonka. A head separately from a body - a running motif through the videos created for The Weeknd's hit album After Hours&nbsp;- appears on the conveyor of a production line. And so begins the start of the creation of the doll version of Ariana...With&nbsp;The Weeknd - in his trademark scarlet lounge&nbsp;jacket, naturally - as the overseer&nbsp;to the creation,&nbsp;the doll becomes more and more developed. The World of Our Love also happens to be a hyper-colourful animated utopia celebrating all things Australian.Mike Greaney and Aaron McDonald have crafted a brilliant short clip that both manages to seem pulpishly&nbsp;modern whilst also feeling a little bit like an animated PSA film from the 80s.This is a fun video laced with Aussie symbolism and reference from the silly and obvious to the downright obscure. Fosters, Koalas, time literally melting away on a Barbecue - it&#39;s all here.&nbsp;My personal favourite was probably the &#39;Struth&#39; brand blender, but it all moves so fast that you&#39;ll probably miss about 90% of it on first watch.
