Daniel Broadley directs a mesmerising promo for Nick Jonas' This Is Heaven, the latest entry from his Spaceman album campaign.&nbsp;We open on Jonas writing lines on a typewriter, detailing a spaceman whose jetpack ignites and launches him skyward - a nod to the final scene of his <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V3cF_AuwZIc" target="_blank">previous video</a>.&nbsp;From there, the artist is shown in a variety of performance vignettes, each with a distinctly dystopian&nbsp;sci-fi vibe, tying into the abstract aesthetic of the campaign so far.&nbsp;Shot across a handful of stunning locations, Stefan Yap's&nbsp;cinematography elevates the concept to cinematic heights, delivering on the larger than life promise of Jonas' latest project.&nbsp;

KC Locke goes back to basics, with the high-energy stylings of his new promo for&nbsp;Digga D&nbsp;and AJ Tracey.&nbsp;Taking charge of operating&nbsp;as well as directing, Locke's&nbsp;fluid camerawork effortlessly connects several distinctive vignettes, aided by whip-pan transitions cut together by frequent collaborator Jamil Shaukat.Performance is the focus here, bouncing back and forth between two faux live setups, before heading to the recording studio and letting the energy run wild.&nbsp;It has the classic signs of a KC Locke visual, with a more stripped-back, intimate feel than some of his bigger projects.&nbsp;

L Devine bemoans the monotony of day-to-day life in Anna Radchenko's video for Boring People.&nbsp;Going through the motions of a typical pop-star, Devine seems to have a packed schedule full of exciting moments- attending house parties, participating in photo shoots, eating ice cream whenever she likes. But as the camera pulls back in each setting, it reveals how truly bored she is beneath the Instagram pictures and jetset lifestyle. Everything is a 'show' in showbusiness, and the lyrics "my dreams are the same as my problems" ring very true indeed.Mirroring the slightly depressed and deflated vibes of the track, the cinematography switches from&nbsp;beauty lighting and flattering composition to moody, dimly-lit scenes, unearthing the brutal reality of a life that isn't quite what it seems.&nbsp;

Locky collaborates with new rapper Respons on this affecting video which explores the impact of loss on those who remain.Like his MVA-nominated video for <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2018/08/21/daith%C3%AD-ft-sei-my-darkest-moments-locky/54639" target="_blank">Daithí's In My Darkest Moments</a>, this is a showcase for the director's talent with actors, investing them with realism even with minimal narrative direction. Captured by Lorenzo Levrini's excellent cinematography, this is all about&nbsp;the way the characters&nbsp;move - or remain still - and their haunted looks&nbsp;that draws in the viewer to interpret what they are seeing.Binding this all together are the words of Respons, who is also an impressive and positive presence among the an utterly credible landscape of despair. In other words, he is the embodiment of his own message in Pray For Change.&nbsp;&nbsp;

OSH takes a journey down memory lane in&nbsp;Lunch Money, directed by Glenn Paton.&nbsp;Walking alongside&nbsp;a younger version of himself, OSH performs across a variety of locations in his community. These are everyday places;&nbsp;betting shops, barber shops, graffiti murals, all of which provide a sense of nostalgia for the past, but also a glimpse into the future generation, who aren't quite as different to us as we often think. They are all retreading the journeys that we took, much like the generation before us, and this idea of cyclicism is explored to great effect.&nbsp;The shooting style helps build upon this idea, mixing together high definition footage with Mini DV and lo-fi mobile phone footage from various events. This anachronistic mix is not only right on-trend, but helps the project feels almost timeless and universal.&nbsp;Strong performances from OSH and the various cast members create a naturalistic, charming vibe that carries through right until the end.&nbsp;

JGrrey explores a world of infinite possibilities&nbsp;in Dreaming Fool, directed by Harry Cauty.&nbsp;Set against an infinite black background, the video cleverly transitions from setup to setup, exploring scenes where JGrrey gets tattooed, lights a spliff and even gets watered like a plant. Like any good dream, it's equal parts surreal and idyllic.&nbsp;Shot in a refreshingly natural/ hand-held style, the absence of a gimbal adds a rough and ready quality to the visual, which is a nice juxtaposition to the buttery-smooth track. Each vignette has a distinct style to it, effortlessly moving from weird fashion to offbeat, almost comedic elements, and right back around again for another lap. It's frenetic and inventive, however there is a certain beauty to the project, allowing for poignant and emotional beats in between the quickfire action.&nbsp;JGrrey has a rare, hypnotic style to&nbsp;her performance, and has the ability to make you feel at home in an unfamiliar world. This is the glue to the whole concept- JGrrey will lead you into her universe and show you a good time, leaving you ready for more by the end of the track. And we certainly can't wait to see what's next.&nbsp;

Opening in a stylised prison holding room, Ray and a gang of girls are getting their mugshots taken, before we cut right back to the scene of the crime.In a neon-lit car in a residential street, Ray witnesses her boyfriend&nbsp;with another girl. The group get out&nbsp;and arm themselves with heavy chains and baseball bats, before charging off into the night. Returning with a rolled up carpet, it's evident what has happened. But will they get away with it?David Wright's cinematography elevates the simple concept, using neon light to contrast Ray and the group against the dim residential location, and the styling and subtle art direction help turn quite a dark idea into something more accessible and commercial. &nbsp;

Utilising the variety of unique locations East London has to offer, the patchwork of vignettes come together to form a warm-hearted homage to Kano's roots,&nbsp;and are elevated by strong performances from both artists.

Lochlainn McKenna (aka&nbsp;Locky), has created a charming&nbsp;and poignant sort of unrequited&nbsp;love for Keane,&nbsp;which sees&nbsp;the band take on the roles of teachers judging the school’s singing competition, as a group of ‘mini Keanes’ play the house band.The band each take on a different role: Tom Chaplin as the clumsy PE Teacher, pianist Tim Rice-Oxley as the utterly disinterested and too cool for school History Teacher, drummer Richard Hughes as the confused and weary Maths Teacher who can’t keep up, and bassist Jesse Quin as the eccentric, enthusiastic Arts Teacher.The mixture of HD and Mini-DV footage is nostalgic and reminiscent of the early 00's, and the simple DIY style set design is a throwback to cheesy school talent shows (that I'm sure we were all forced to participate in as kids).&nbsp;Bassist Jesse Quin tells us,&nbsp;“our hope was that we’d come up with a light-hearted and fun, but emotionally compelling look at the idea of loving maybe a little too much.” He continues “though it may fall apart, we can find some solace in the memories of what was – “Nothing can take that away from me.”'&nbsp;
