British singer and producer&nbsp;Wesley Joseph self-directs the mesmerising video for his track Patience, with featured artist Jorja Smith as his co-star - in his first outing since signing to the directing roster at Stink Rising.As with his excellent self-directed videos for&nbsp;<a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2021/03/24/wesley-joseph-thrilla-wesley-joseph/70135" target="_blank">Thrilla</a> and <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2021/05/21/wesley-joseph-ultramarine-wesley-joseph/71001" target="_blank">Ultramarine</a>,&nbsp;Joseph creates a visually striking world with a dreamlike quality, comprising of&nbsp;apparently disconnected&nbsp;scenes - teenagers united in grief, two young boys happy on their bikes, an outburst of violence, and so on - which gain meaning when taken as a whole.&nbsp;Wesley and Jorja witness these hyperreal, humanist&nbsp;scenes as they drive&nbsp;through their hometown in a white vintage Mercedes. And while distracted by the visions they see, they are involved in a&nbsp;head-on collision.[imgtoken data:1]In the aftermath of the wreck, both artists perform in the carnage of the accident, and then into a metaphorical 'heaven-like' space. The dramatic subnarratives that they saw earlier outside the car come to an emotive conclusion at the end.Joseph performs from within an expanse of flowers as if he is visiting his own graveside, while Jorja Smith arrives as a presence in the video as the mortally injured victim, hurled away from the flaming car.[imgtoken data:2]The video,&nbsp;shot over two days in&nbsp;Surrey, is redolent of Kendrick Lamar's videos, particularly the video for Element, and the work of David Lynch. It's&nbsp;the latest and most substantial work yet from the Birmingham-born musician, producer and filmmaker, who originally came to London&nbsp;in 2016 to study film, and then began making music, and is now proving to be successful in both fields.Joseph now joins the Stink Rising roster, and will be globally represented by the new talent division of Stink Films, the production company with offices around the world.&nbsp;[imgtoken data:3]“I’m really excited to be joining forces with the visionaries at Stink Films," he says. Tom Haines embraces the echoes left behind by nightlife culture, in his passionate promo for Camelphat's Easier.&nbsp;Haines reimagines the past barren year of club culture, the ghostly reminders of what&nbsp;life was like just over ten months ago, with the help of regular collaborator, DoP Steve Annis. They pull together a more optimistic perspective as we weave in and out of&nbsp;outlandish, no-holds-barred dance spectacles.&nbsp;It begins with the lead character engaging with the technology that makes the clubbing experience so special and otherworldly, and soon there is a vibrant&nbsp;display of lasers, haze and remote heads, encapsulating the hypnotic, hyperactive energy of the dancefloor - just like the good old days.

Felix Brady's&nbsp;dreamlike, kaleidoscopic visuals take centre stage in Mr Sun (Miss Da Sun) by Greentea Peng.&nbsp;Playing&nbsp;vivid, lush landscapes off against brutalist city structures, the camera continuously pushes forward&nbsp;into different environments, in this latest example of Brady's resourcefully creative approach to music video FX.Aira (aka Greentea Peng) acts as a guide of sorts, her hypnotic, trance-like performance leading us from one environment to the next, through unusual mirror portals (several of which even come with their own bouncer).&nbsp;And Harry Wheeler's cinematography takes the strongest elements from nature and technology, and weaves them into his images. A tube carriage, drowned in a Matrix-style green feels futuristic and striking, and in the next frame&nbsp;we are out in a park, washed in sunlight and amongst the autumnal colours of nature.&nbsp;The VFX, courtesy of Berlin-based Mikko Ruostila, also deserves a shout-out. The different layers and tracking of the environments is no walk in the park, however the team have perfectly executed an immersive and surreal world for Greentea Peng to thrive in. This is one of the more unique videos you will see this year, and it's evident that the team have worked passionately to get the project finished to such a high standard.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Duth producers&nbsp;Tiesto and&nbsp;Oliver Heldens joined singer&nbsp;Natalie LaRose to record this banger&nbsp;The Right Song, now paired with this silly,&nbsp;fun-filled video by directing trio Shynola.It follows a&nbsp;lone office cleaner&nbsp;who uses some quite unconventional cleaning methods&nbsp;and&nbsp;harnesses the power of dance to have a good time whilst on the job.
