I am French and Australian writer/director based in London.My background is originally in theatre - I founded and ran an English theatre company in Berlin from 2017-2020. During that time, I directed multiple contemporary pieces from Skylight by David Hare to The Real Thing by Tom Stoppard.I graduated with a Philosophy MA from the University of St Andrews in 2024. During that time, I started my freelance videography company Nowhereland Productions and have shot fashion shows, fight nights, live concerts, commercial series and more.Since moving to London, I have shot for SXSW (London edition), and directed a music video and fashion film on 16mm. I am currently working with emerging UK designers on a series of 16mm fashion films and am developing my next narrative short film ‘Tussle’. Gabrielle Torreborre directs an affecting promo for Spanish duo Coro &amp; Gully.&nbsp;The video for their delightful song Palomitas Sin Maíz was written in tribute to Coro's grandmother, who passed away in March, with both artists turning to songwriting to process the emotions together.Deeply introspective and human, the video is built from an abstract montage of performance and lingering narrative snapshots, building an atmospheric, gentle aesthetic.&nbsp;"[The video is] a joyful tribute to life and the memories that outlast it," explains Torreborre. "It was shot on 16mm, which allowed us to create a soft, reminiscent atmosphere like a tucked-away memory."This video was an opportunity to reflect, process and a reminder to be grateful for those who we still have around us and to celebrate those who have long left."
