Australian band The Amity Affliction explore the imposing nature of nature itself in Daniel Daly's video for Soak Me In Bleach.&nbsp;Nestled within a forest with the remnants of Autumn surrounding them, the group perform within a cage, protected from any outside threat. Intermittently cutting to sinister shots of the calm yet foreboding environment, the avant-garde structure of the video is a little difficult to decipher, but very much open for interpretation.Shot on 16mm, the excellent cinematography by Frances Chen pushes the oranges and reds&nbsp;to exploit the seasonal colour palette. The video is simple in its concept but an apt take on a mysterious and energetic track.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Sharon Van Etten&#39;s new video comes across like a blast from the past, and part of the grand tradition of New Jersey rock n roll.It&#39;s a very cool video with an old-school sensibility, shot on Super 16mm, directed by Maureen Towey and featuring Van Etten with Rachel&nbsp;Trachtenburg as the putative subject of her song Seventeen. She is, of course,&nbsp;also Van Etten&#39;s younger self, or alter-ego. And you can feel the bond between them.
