Afrancis searches for connection through music in Hedvig Ahlberg's&nbsp;video for Lonely People.Set in a&nbsp;pub in London, the singer begins to perform to some uninterested punters, before her dancing alter-ego&nbsp;appears out of thin air, resonating with the music, taking up the space with movement and being driven by pure emotion.&nbsp;"We wanted to create a world that symbolises the feeling of loneliness&nbsp;that Afrancis speaks about in the song," says director&nbsp;Hedvig Ahlberg.&nbsp;"Almost through animalistic movements the two of them starts to&nbsp;gravitate towards each other – seeking that connection they yet haven’t&nbsp;found, but have been longing for."&nbsp;DoP&nbsp;Luciana Riso keeps the vision authentic with plenty of natural light at the beginning, which transforms to heavy greens and reds as the video progresses, mirroring this connection and the feeling of wonderment and fantasy in the concept.&nbsp;

Alexandra Green's video for&nbsp;French musician and producer Oklou is simple, cool, and exquisitely effective.Oklou, dressed in red, sits among black rocks in a blacked-out space, an otherworldly studio set. She performs her Mura Masa-produced song Entertnmnt to camera, as it rotates around her. That's it, more or less.&nbsp;But the contact between her eye and the camera, as it executes a parabola - moving away and then getting closer again as it circles around her&nbsp;- is transfixing.James Rhodes' camerawork is executed so that Oklou is always the centre of attention, while the set -&nbsp;an arrangement of rockery by art director Afra Zamara - is quite&nbsp;intriguing in itself.Overall this is a great example of director and choreographer Ally Green relying on the movement of the camera rather than the subject to grab the viewer's attention.&nbsp;

Barny Fletcher create&nbsp;havoc&nbsp;in the glitchy video for Risk, directed by Daniel Fletcher.&nbsp;In a simple&nbsp;room, the artist is on camera with two cloned versions of himself stuttering on and off-screen as he performs, creating a frenetic and omnipresent vibe. You&nbsp;cannot&nbsp;escape Barny Fletcher.Formed almost entirely of performance, Fletcher's confidence shines through, bolstering a very simple concept with the energy and engagement&nbsp;you would expect from a seasoned pro. The fact he is relatively new to the scene is exciting and suggests we will be seeing a lot more from the rapper in 2020.&nbsp;

Greg Barth's has smuggled&nbsp;humour&nbsp;and satire into his bright and colourful pop videos for Easy Life, and this one for Nice Guys is their wildest&nbsp;and zaniest collaboration yet.&nbsp;&nbsp;The&nbsp;band are the guest performers on a bizarre TV talk show - where the audience are whipped up by a host who is akin to a cult leader - that's disrupted by a Trumpalike and descends into mayhem. It's crazy - while the band manage to keep their cool, led by affably charismatic frontman Murray. Just don't say it couldn't happen.&nbsp;

Henry Scholfield has the answer: you get together with Stormzy, and you make another London classic.Vossi Bop, first single from the new Stormzy album, inspires the first collaboration between director and artist, with the big man in some iconic London locations (starting on a deserted Westminster Bridge),&nbsp;featuring some gobsmacking moves (lounging on the bonnet of a moving car, naturally), and another cameo from&nbsp;Idris Elba, for good measure.Transitioning from epic scene to epic scene with the smoothness that characterised Boasty, and an intensity that never falters, Stormzy dominates the screen, as he shares it with his crew of all ages, with his customary easygoing charisma. And Scholfield, with his trademark combination of flair, musicality and meticulous eye, directs another superbly entertaining work.It's a real statement of intent, from start to finish - achieved, remarkably, in ten working days from sign-off to delivery. That&#39;s right, buggy-boards: baby buggies attached to longboards.The director&nbsp;explains below how it all came together on location in Barcelona, and how health and safety considerations were indeed taken into account, before the video was graded and finished at ENVY in London.
