For a while...The video was shot back in early July at the height of Covid, when Leigh-Anne and Perrie were in the later stage of their pregnancies. So the girls certainly needed a bit of help around the house.In his first video for Little Mix, Rowson brings a bit of a twisted edge to proceedings - especially when things start to go horribly wrong. Will Hooper kicks off the New Year with an impeccable promo&nbsp;for Rag’n’Bone Man’s&nbsp;All You Ever Wanted.&nbsp;Visualising the song’s social commentary on overpopulation and gentrification, Hooper presents the idyll of a pristine model village, bringing his trademark charm and wit to the table.&nbsp; As the track progresses however, the layers are peeled back to reveal the reality hidden beneath: an unhinged dystopia playing&nbsp;out in live action.Every detail in the video had to be meticulously planned out through a series of animatics and storyboards. This took place weeks prior to shooting, in order for the model village set build - led by Jennifer Kidd - to work with the matchframe scenes in the live action.This attention to detail has paid off - the video is a stunning and unexpected take on very important themes, with an unforgettable aesthetic and visual style, which perfectly complements Hooper's recent steps into the bizarre and uncanny.&nbsp;[imgtoken data:1]

Fenn O’Meally explores&nbsp;musical obsession in her charming promo for Texas ft. Wu-Tang Clan.&nbsp;The film features&nbsp;Kadeem Ramsay - well known for his recurring role in Top Boy, and also in Steve McQueen anthology Small Axe - as Myles, an obsessive Texas and Wu-Tang fan. After seeing their legendary joint performance at the 1998 Brit Awards, he’s spent the last 15 years collecting merch and memorabilia of the two, whilst plotting ways to bring this monumental collaboration back. The film follows Myles’&nbsp;obsession with the ultimate music collaboration and his hope that they will, one day, reunite.O’Meally&nbsp;injects humour and effortless charisma into the project, while employing a clever split narrative.&nbsp;Lensed by Molly Manning Walker, the use of authentic, docu-style shots helps build a sense of character and narrative, whilst the more experimental footage brings a jolt&nbsp;of youthful energy to the overall concept.&nbsp;The production design and art direction are top-notch, cleverly portraying a sense of celebrity obsession, without going overboard into parody territory. Just when you thought the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11's moon landing had banished those conspiracy theories... here comes Sam Pilling's new video for&nbsp;DJ Shadow.Having cheerfully shattered our assumptions about the genteel world of international diplomacy with their first collaboration in 2016, the brilliant, award-winning <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2016/08/25/dj-shadow-run-jewels-nobody-speak-sam-pilling/43283" target="_blank">Nobody Speak</a>, Pilling&nbsp;goes further - much further - with this latest team-up with Shadow, for the De La Soul-featuring Rocket Fuel.The jumping-off point is that perennial&nbsp; internet&nbsp;chatroom subject, that the moon landings were all faked - and the 'open secret' that Neil Armstrong and Buzz Adrin, the first men on the moon, did not particularly get along. The result is a remarkable, spectacular, screwball epic, Sam Pilling's most ambitious video to date.At first this is very much like the wonderful Apollo 11 movie - a tapestry of stock footage of the era. A regular, middle-aged couple end up mixing with with models and fashionistas on the sort of luxury holiday you only see in a Calvin Harris promo, in the latest Ed Sheeran vid.Andy McLeod gently skewers&nbsp;the emphasis on youth, beauty and luxury in music videos - a good foil for the sentiment of Ed's Beautiful People. The sensible couple try their best to enjoy the opulent lifestyle they have been randomly dropped into, slightly bemused by the boisterous, wasteful behaviour of the young people around them. But after exhausting&nbsp;stints on a yacht, a stretched limo and private jet, they decide to pack it in and get back on the omnibus for a bit of peace and quiet.The video features a handful of comped-in,&nbsp;blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cameos from Ed Sheeran. The self-effacing singer has always taken a backseat in his own promos, often relying on a stand-in or avatar. More recently, this decision is paying off in a series of increasingly high-concept narrative pieces.

So, with the help of her costumed friends - her ice cream lover, a hot dog, two toilets,&nbsp;and a singing burger - she sabotages a dinner date so she can have a restaurant to herself.Barber has an eye for the magic of suburbia, and the video boasts some glowing photography by Aaron Rogers.

It documents aspects of black lifestyles from&nbsp;different backgrounds and social classes.
