The Magic Gang 'Alright' by Zac Ella
Zac Ella's return to music videos for The Magic Gang requires you to keep your eyes peeled at all times.
It may start as a tried-and-tested sitcom trope - son brings girlfriend to meet his parents and have squirm-inducing dinner - but things get progressively darker and weirder. And make less sense as the visual continuity errors start appearing.
So pay attention, and see if you can pick up on all of the purposely-placed continuity errors throughout the video - some really easy, and some really hard. There's a lot - and they're listed at the end.
"Yeah - it’s pretty much inspired by The Krypton Factor’s observation round," says Ella. "This could quite easily have gone down the colourful slapstick route but it drifted into the dark with a sober approach to the cinematography.
"We was pretty fortunate to get all the cast we reached out to - including Brass Eye’s David Cann and Eastenders’ Maddy Hill - which some’s up the dark-hearted comedy we were aiming for. That and a bloke in a dress always helps."
