Coro Benavent directs a charming promo for London-based Portuguese artist&nbsp;Dani Toi's collaboration with rapper Lemzi and vocalist&nbsp;Shazzidé.The video for Look Around&nbsp;features a young boy (played by Huxley Syers) who sees a world of possibilities in a seemingly disconnected London. With his hand-drawn maps, that he presents to the three artists who he meets on his travels around the city, the boy&nbsp;orchestrates a secret 1920s magical concert, fighting back against the city's grey monotony.With a textural, vintage aesthetic and a breezy, often documentary-style vibe, there is a very engaging quality about the story, with the narrative holding a gentle sense of suspense and wonder as it progresses. And&nbsp;it's an excellent complement to the undulating track and celebrates the power of connection and community.&nbsp;[imgtoken data:1]Coro Benavent explains that the idea for the video came from knowledge of how the song was created as well as the music itself."Listening to the song, and understanding how it was composed by musicians meeting each other for the first time, made me want to explore how we lose touch with our creative selves as we grow older, and who alone is capable of helping us," she explains."Only a child, with endless imagination, can make us see the world's magic, remind us of our own worth, and show us what we can create by working together."&nbsp;

Gabrielle Torreborre's video for Italian singer Gaia Banfi transforms a woman's dissatisfaction with her relationship into a visually inventive&nbsp;dance piece.&nbsp;The opening scene of the video for Ragni suggests the reason for her concerns - her face blurred by a steamed-up bathroom mirror, we then see the evidence of a&nbsp;pregnancy test. After that, she starts to see spiders - real and imaginary - all over the home she shares with her partner.The French/Australian writer and director Torreborre directed an impressive video for Spanish duo <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2025/07/10/coro-gully-palomitas-sin-ma%C3%ADz-gabrielle-torreborre/91785" target="_blank">Coro &amp; Gully</a> earlier this year and here is more evidence of her talents as a director, based around the strong and affecting performance she draws from dancer Hannah Orman as the woman on the verge of a momentous decision.&nbsp;

Gabrielle Torreborre directs an affecting promo for Spanish duo Coro &amp; Gully.&nbsp;The video for their delightful song Palomitas Sin Maíz was written in tribute to Coro's grandmother, who passed away in March, with both artists turning to songwriting to process the emotions together.Deeply introspective and human, the video is built from an abstract montage of performance and lingering narrative snapshots, building an atmospheric, gentle aesthetic.&nbsp;"[The video is] a joyful tribute to life and the memories that outlast it," explains Torreborre. "It was shot on 16mm, which allowed us to create a soft, reminiscent atmosphere like a tucked-away memory."This video was an opportunity to reflect, process and a reminder to be grateful for those who we still have around us and to celebrate those who have long left."
