Gabrielle Torreborre's video for Italian singer Gaia Banfi transforms a woman's dissatisfaction with her relationship into a visually inventive dance piece. 

The opening scene of the video for Ragni suggests the reason for her concerns - her face blurred by a steamed-up bathroom mirror, we then see the evidence of a pregnancy test. After that, she starts to see spiders - real and imaginary - all over the home she shares with her partner.

The French/Australian writer and director Torreborre directed an impressive video for Spanish duo Coro & Gully earlier this year and here is more evidence of her talents as a director, based around the strong and affecting performance she draws from dancer Hannah Orman as the woman on the verge of a momentous decision.
