Eminem is back with one of his most entertaining videos in ages, directed by new wunderkind, Cole Bennett.Godzilla channels the cartoonish energy of the classic Eminem videos by Joseph Kahn - Slim Shady, and others&nbsp;- as Eminem gets drunk in his local hypermarket, has an interlude as a butcher, and an unfortunate&nbsp;run-in with Mike Tyson (who is very apologetic afterwards), and medical treatment from Dr Dre.&nbsp;The video ends with a tribute to Juice WRLD, who guest stars on the track Godzilla, featuring&nbsp;an audio message from the late rapper as heartfelt words are emblazoned on screen, written by Bennett. As the video is released out of Lyrical Lemonade, Bennett's hugely influential YouTube channel for which he has&nbsp;directed dozens of influential and hugely popular videos, his control over the project, ending with his signature,&nbsp;is something to behold.&nbsp;

Her dance video for <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fRh_vgS2dFE" target="_blank">Justin Bieber's Sorry</a> is one of the most viewed music videos of all time, and now director/choreographer Parris Goebel is back with JB, creating another all-dancing alternate video for the comeback single Yummy, featuring her Royal Family dancers and 'Sorry' girls. It's like Sorry - only bigger, slicker, more spectacular.This showstopper features an awesome troupe of 52 female dancers and the power of the video rests in the fact that you are always aware fo the sheer size and uniform excellence of this huge group. It's so impressive that this video was preceded by the release of <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jtVjmcujrIg" target="_blank">footage of the rehearsal</a>, earlier this month.Shot entirely on 35mm by DoP Kaname Onoyama,&nbsp;the camera glides around, above,&nbsp;or in the midst of the girls, but it always seems to be keeping the all or most of the 52 within the frame.It is testament to the celebrated skill of Goebel as a director and choreographer that the group radiates personality as well as sheer precision. And her camera loves each and every one of them.

Matilda Finn creates a moving collage to reflect Jay Rock&#39;s political words to For What It&#39;s Worth,&nbsp;bringing to life the characters in his lyrics&nbsp;as they appear like ghosts along the sidewalk.In contrast to the pale linear tracking shot, the visuals suddenly plunge into darkness midway through the video, capturing closer and more intimate portraits. Finn masterfully causes tension through the raw reality of the situations depicted in this video, mainly shot in neutral monochrome tones, but then breaking into a powerful midnight blue.Matilda Finn has just signed to Stink Films&nbsp;for commercial and music video representation in the UK. Katie Lambert, EP of Music at Stink in London,&nbsp;says:&nbsp;&quot;We&rsquo;re overjoyed. I feel like Matilda is a unique voice and artist. I cannot wait to see what we do next.&quot; &nbsp;

Another week, another great Kendrick Lamar video... Okay, this one is for Jay Rock, featuring Kendrick and Future, but it is certainly the latest of that&nbsp;consistently brilliant portfolio of jawdropping visuals&nbsp;to accompany the Compton maestro&#39;s music - this from the Black Panther soundtrack project&nbsp;- that originates out of his TDE operation.In this case, it&#39;s directed by&nbsp;Dave Free - one half of The Little Homies with Lamar -&nbsp;and Jack Begert, who capture their artists in a series of scenarios that zoom out - and keep zooming out, to reveal they have been shot on extraordinary long lenses.The effect, when the rappers are revealed to be on separate rooftops in the LA skyline, is like a paranoid thriller from the 70s. But overall the effect is too smart and fastmoving to be taken too seriously. There&#39;s a great stockmarket trader scenario that is like The Wolf Of Wall Street meets Hammer &amp; Tongs REM video Imitation of Life. Kendrick and Jay start out in a palm tree, and then it ends with Kendrick directing traffic on a very busy LA intersection. Please never try this...&nbsp;&nbsp;In all of this, huge kudos must go to DoP Christopher Ripley, who used robot rigs in a wholly new way, and also shot on ridiculously high res 8K to achieve these impossibly long zoom shots. <a href="http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/music/features/kendrick-lamar-kings-dead-music-video-zooms-black-panther-a8220841.html" target="_blank">He has spoken to The Independent about what went into achieving the shots&nbsp;on the King&#39;s Dead video</a>&nbsp;&ndash;&nbsp;a&nbsp;must-read.

Admittedly we&#39;ve come rather late to this. So it&#39;s about time we acknowledged the tour de force and all-round phenomenon that is the video for Lil Dicky&#39;s Pillow Talking.Directed by Tony Yacenda, regular collaborator of comedian/rapper Dave Burd (aka Lil Dicky), this is a ten-plus minute visualising of the track which charts a casual sexual encounter between Burd and a girl (played by Taylor Misiak), from the realistically&nbsp;ungainly sex itself, to the breakdown of relations between the two, once their wildly divergent views of the world (from extraterrestial life&nbsp;to religion to food), have been aired.And although it all happens in the bedroom, this involves appearances by dinosaurs, John C Reilly as God, wolves and Lil Dicky&#39;s Brain. And Brain needs a poop.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Well apparently they all get together in a swanky pad and invite Bishop Briggs along to sing.Several&nbsp;favourite villainous archetypes are accounted for in Ramón Ayala&#39;s clip for Wild Horses. It&#39;s full of cool, distorted wide shots, a woozy atmosphere,&nbsp;splashes of red light and, of course, a horse. And even if the characters are not in full Lynchian or Tarantinoesque baddie mode, the video still manages to pack some attitude.&nbsp;

LA-based directing team&nbsp;Syndrome have cooked up a&nbsp;colourful, vibrant and&nbsp;hyperreal dance video for Jason Derulo&#39;s Get Ugly, which sees&nbsp;Jason and&nbsp;his crew making&nbsp;their&nbsp;way through&nbsp;the city, getting everyone moving through&nbsp;their infectious,&nbsp;energetic dance moves.With animated cartoon&nbsp;expressions, some great art direction, and&nbsp;impressive hip-hop choreography, it&#39;s as polished and slick as it is fun and entertaining. Not ugly at all, in fact.

It&#39;s an enticing&nbsp;performance lit with neon light and populated with glow-in-the-dark backup dancers, and gives Borns (aka Garrett Borns) pretentions of icon status.&nbsp;He performs atop a glowing LED dance platform before suddenly&nbsp;glowing white-hot himself. Then continuing with the video&#39;s&nbsp;electricity-centered theme, the singer finds himself in an&nbsp;animated electric love vortex made up of&nbsp;neon signs. A trippy video for all the new-age psyche-lovers out there.&nbsp;
