Simon Lane directs an exceptional live performance video for singer-songwriter Douglas Dare,&nbsp;shot within the beautiful St John of Jerusalem Church in Hackney, London.Dare emerges from the church pews in an ivory-white ballgown to glide towards the musicians of the&nbsp;London Contemporary Orchestra, whilst singing the nursery rhyme-influenced Heavenly Bodies, in a consummately choreographed single take.&nbsp;This was filmed on Super 16mmm, and Lane and his DoP Jake Gabbay have achieved a stunning visual quality for the piece. It sets the bar high for achievement in cinematography in the year ahead.

Jackson Ducasse directs a love letter to the power of friendship, in his heartfelt promo for Amy Macdonald.&nbsp;The video for Fire celebrates the people who make us tick and&nbsp;allow us to be ourselves when we're around them, and follows a pair of young adults navigating their way around relationships and a turbulent, ever-changing world.&nbsp;Breezy and poignant, the performances are naturalistic and explore&nbsp;the various identities we choose to suit different situations, and the confidence that comes with uncovering our true selves as we transition to adulthood.&nbsp;DoP&nbsp;Anna Patarakina mirrors the themes of the concept with spontaneous camera movement and energetic set pieces, creating an overarching, feel-good vibe with an optimistic ending.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Black Saint have enlisted&nbsp;Icelandic vocal sensation&nbsp;BrÍet for Day Drinking, and in the video by Simon Lane,&nbsp;we see&nbsp;BrÍet and friends enjoying day-to-day life amid&nbsp;the rugged landscapes of Iceland.They take a road trip, on a day where the sun never truly sets. The scenery looks magical, and the simple narrative invites us to focus on the natural beauty on-screen. There is an air of calm to the whole visual, not only in the setting, but also in the slow, deliberate camera movements, and hypnotising performance from&nbsp;BrÍet.&nbsp;The organic feel of the majority of the video is juxtaposed nicely with a more stylised, fashion-inspired performance setup. And Simon Lane's video&nbsp;finds greatness in small moments - whether it be a sweeping drone shot of the gorgeous scenery, or&nbsp;holding a take for a couple of seconds between lyrics, allowing us to see&nbsp;fleeting snapshots of BrÍet's vulnerable side.A lovely video that is elevated by its unique location and considered artistry.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Tom Prior plays a down-on-his luck singer with the chance at a change of fortune in this new clip by Jackson Ducasse.The neon-noir drama feels like if Nicolas Winging Refn were to make a movie in a London working men&#39;s&#39; club. The full cast of characters is here: the thugs, the bartender, the femme fatale, the unlucky guy caught in the middle of it all. Of course, there&#39;s a big bag of cash that changes hands a few times too many and a double-cross or two, but this is Ducasse playing to the genre tropes nicely.
