Blink have announced that Chloe Hayward, who directed the recent video for Say Lou Lou's You're The One,&nbsp;is joining their directors' roster for representation in the UK and Amsterdam.After a prolific career on the other side of the lens, Chloe’s desire to dive deeply into authentic female stories led her to pick up a camera and begin to shoot and edit her own films. Shortly after taking the plunge in 2021, she was nominated as Shots New Director of the Year.Chloe’s approach blends the truthfulness of documentary with timeless cinematic images, in a pursuit for the most vulnerable and human moments. Her background in theatre studies and time in front of the camera really show through in the emotion driven storytelling across her work in commercials, shorts and documentaries.“I’m really so pleased Chloe has chosen Blink as the place to continue developing her unique voice," says Blink executive producer Patrick Craig. Chloe Hayward joins Blink in London and Amsterdam

Twin sisters Elektra and Miranda Kilbey - aka Say Lou Lou - are back with their cover of Kate Bush’s You’re The One, and an emotionally rich visual for the track, directed by Chloe Hayward.In Hayward's video, the duo play two sides of the same woman, each battling her own inner obstacles which manifest into physical realities when trying to leave a relationship. While Miranda is in a domestic setting, Elektra (also an actor, recently&nbsp;in Apple TV+ show Shantaram) is constantly on the move, by car, foot and hitching a ride, to get to her destination.[imgtoken data:1]“The song is about the different choices we each make in love,&nbsp;that limbo of deciding to stay or leave," says Hayward. "We decided to play with the duality of the twins very directly and present these alternate versions of a love that might exist and simultaneously be a dream.“We were inspired by the Dogma filmmakers, so we set rules for the video as if it were a film. We never see the two girls in the same frame, Elektra is only ever seen outside and Miranda is only seen inside the house to echo these two versions.”Ambitiously executed, even with the aforementioned restraint in the concept, the use of lo-fi edit moments and creative cinematography helps elevate this video to true artistic heights, and it's a mesmerising watch.&nbsp;

Jack Whiteley and Joe Wills get together to conflate the worlds of videogaming, cosplay, and classic disco, to create something really special for Little Dragon.It all starts with a teenage girl rushing into her bedroom to get&nbsp;stuck into her favourite online video game&nbsp;- which introduces us to fantastically off-the-wall real-life cosplay characters, in a country house retrreat, and the fictional Bodins Castle, where all manner . It's there that her blue garbed, pointy chinned avatar&nbsp;meets &lt;lil dragon&gt;, and plenty more intriguing characters (with the occasional 3D figure mixed in with the real).&nbsp;They connect - and then later on the castle dancefloor.With fantastic attention to layers of detail,&nbsp;Whiteley and Wills bring brilliant costume design, makeup, VFX and choreographu&nbsp;- and make regular returns to the charming young player, to create a superbly imaginative&nbsp;soufflé for Little Dragon's Lover Chanting.Brilliant stuff, for a&nbsp;fantastic song, which is&nbsp;taken from their brand new ‘Lover Chanting’ EP which is set for release digitally on 9th November with a special 12” black vinyl release scheduled for 16th November.
