Barnstorming indie band Wet Leg are reimagined as bath-loving aliens beamed down from outer space, in Fred Rowson's loveably&nbsp;eccentric promo for Too Late Now.&nbsp;Wrapped in bath towels, the band venture out into Croydon to experience the Earthly delight of a good hot soak for the very first time, reflecting the lyrics, “I just need a bubble bath to set me on a higher path”.During their pursuit they encounter the addictions of bubble bath and the relaxing qualities of cucumbers - which involves a certain amount of suggestiveness, in the already characteristic Wet Leg style&nbsp;-&nbsp;eventually finding true nirvana in the form of a very pink hot tub, drawing a conclusion to the space-invaders’ pilgrimage.Filmed across two days in South-East London and on a rather muddy Kentish farm, DoP Rik Burnell worked closely with Rowson to achieve the ‘fly on the wall’ aesthetic, shot on a very very long lens with minimal lighting.[imgtoken data:1]<blockquote>I was slightly stunned to shoot the first Wet Leg video that they didn’t direct themselves.</blockquote>"Wet Leg may be the coolest band of the year, but, surprisingly, they are also 2021’s year’s most innocent gang of outsiders," comments Rowson. "Tasked with documenting their first experience of exploring an urban centre outside of Ryde [on the Isle of Wight] I was shocked by their naivety, and nearly lost them on numerous occasions, not least when Rhian nearly went under a bus. Twice."Thankfully, no indie kids were harmed in the making of this movie, and the quintet instinctively found their way to the safety of a rural setting. Thank God. "Seriously though. I was slightly stunned when Hester and Rhian asked me to shoot the first Wet Leg video that they didn’t direct themselves. Pressure, considering that their previous two were, for me, the best of the year. Following up their video for <a href="http://www.promonews.tv/videos/2016/01/04/benjamins-brother-story-about-broken-heart-too-short-modeling" target="_blank">Story About A Broken Heart</a>, Israeli directing duo Too Short For Modeling - that&#39;s&nbsp;Noam Sharon and Tal Rosenthal - have created a rather wonderful piece about a dancer in a room, and her reflection.Or is it? Well, its pretty clear from early on that we are in&nbsp;fact watching&nbsp;two identical dancers. But the mirror image - both the impression of one, and also an actual one &ndash; is cleverly maintained throughout. That complex choreography - by the camerawork and the edit, as well as by the dancers -&nbsp;makes this a riveting watch.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

A man struggles in his relationship as his partner becomes ill with a rare, light-emitting disease in the video for Benjamin&#39;s Brother&#39;s&nbsp;Story About A Broken Heart, by Israeli&nbsp;directing team&nbsp;Too Short For Modeling.TSFM are Noam Sharon and Tal Rosenthal, who began working together making comedy clips for their YouTube channel (now with over 14 million views), then went&nbsp;on to create the 1.70 Meters TV series&nbsp;for Bip, Israel&#39;s comedy channel. Noam Sharon also directed the award-winning&nbsp;video for Acollective&#39;s Breakapart, before reigniting his directing partnership with Tal&nbsp;Rosenthal in 2015.

Acollective are a&nbsp;Tel Aviv-based band, and their&nbsp;video for their single Breakapart is a very entertaining tribute to classic album sleeve art, featuring the band&nbsp;re-creating some iconic record covers for the likes of Patti Smith, Freddy Mercury, Bob Dylan, Iggy Pop, Bob Marley, Beck, Elton John, Kiss, Sia, Nirvana, The Doors, Chet Baker, Bruce Springsteen, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Elvis, Pantera, Metallica, Alice Cooper, Eurythmics, Rage Against The Machine and John Travolta.With Israeli-born director Vania Heymann having recently created his marvellous video for Roy Kafri, also based upon classic record sleeve art, it is tempting to ask - what is it about Israeli directors and album sleeves? &nbsp;But Noam Sharon &amp; Tal Zagreba, directors of&nbsp;the Acollective&nbsp;video, incorporate at least a couple of&nbsp;variations on the theme, having not only the band recreate the covers, but also imagining the scenes beyond the 12 x 12&quot; square format.Very resourceful, and impressive, as much in the manner of the classic Hold Your Horses 70 Million as Vania&#39;s Roy Kafri video.&nbsp;
