I wrote it after processing a traumatic experience in my late teens that had made me feel frighteningly vulnerable."I wrote The Woman&nbsp;with no intention of showing it to anyone or releasing it. But after slipping it into a few acoustic performances early this year, I received really inspiring feedback from people in the audience. Women were approaching me to tell me they liked the song with this knowing look and I felt an immediate connection to them. It actually felt pretty devastating that we had these experiences in common.”&nbsp;

SOMOH is a master of disguise in Andy Little's touching promo for Man, set in a fancy dress store.The video sees bedrooom pop artist Sophia Mohan - aka SOMOH -&nbsp;don a number of different outfits, some traditionally masculine and manly, to capture the themes of the track. The offbeat fashion and stylistic choices act as an armour of sorts, to try and blend in to the world at large, even when you shouldn't have to be doing so.[imgtoken data:1]&nbsp;"Man was written out of the jealousy I felt towards heterosexual couples able to display their love in public," the artist explains of the track.&nbsp;"I’ve experienced so many moments in my relationship where I haven’t felt comfortable or safe enough to be affectionate with my partner. I wanted this song to capture the desperation of wishing I didn’t have to hide that part of myself so much."Whilst playful in its execution, the video tackles the frustrations of the double standards that persist in traditional relationships as opposed to LGBTQ+ relationships, and it's a real knockout introduction to the artist for those who aren't familiar yet.&nbsp;

Andy Little teams up with Hayden Thorpe to direct the arthouse-inspired promo for Thorpe's Polygod.&nbsp;In the video, we see the singer&nbsp;and former Wild Beasts frontman adorned with a pair of angel wings, performing and exploring whilst the video degrades to a red-hued, high-contrast world.&nbsp;&nbsp;Shot on Bolex 16mm film, the avant-garde&nbsp;concept is&nbsp;imbued with a sense of DIY spirit and experimentation - and&nbsp;references several 80's classics, including the work of Derek Jarman.&nbsp;"The idea for the video was to create a character that’s almost like an Evangelist preacher," says Andy Little. "And we had a lot of fun with this idea."Little&nbsp;explains that the video was filmed in Kendal in the Lake District - Thorpe's hometown. "The working title was The Kendal Prophet," he continues. "[He's]&nbsp;a kind of poor-man’s Lake District Messiah."&nbsp;

Andy Little directs a docu-style promo for Midlake's Exile.Joining the group on their UK tour this year, Little captured the scenes on a mix of super 8mm and 16mm.&nbsp;Feeling obliged to join the band for&nbsp;a few whiskys, Andy accidentally (or drunkenly) loaded one of the the exposed rolls of 16mm back into the camera - but facing the wrong way. The film was double exposed and dragged through the camera at a unsual speed,&nbsp;creating a bizzare double exposure effect. Talk about happy accidents.&nbsp;The resulting promo is an intimate, dreamlike experience, with plenty of glorious live footage of the band.&nbsp;
